I've already given you proof when you wrote your idiotic post about dinosaurs and that 'hell' wasn't mentioned in the Old Testament.

I'm still waiting for proof from you that hell DOESN'T exist since you claim it doesn't.

One mistake I have made...Proverbs tells me not to argue with fools.

I'm wasting my (valuable) time on you.

It's not factual? Then why do libraries throughout the world shelve it in the 'non-fiction' section? BTW, in case you don't know: fiction = novels, stories, untrue books (books for entertainment/ non-fiction = considered true and accurate
Prove to me hell doesn't exist. You're the one who claims it doesn't.
Libraries that employ the standard Dewey Decimal System shelve it in 220 - religion.bible just to the right of 201 religious mythology and to the left of 297 - islam. Surely you can do better than plain misrepresentation. How ironic you naturally resort to deception and insult to make your case.

I see this has kind of disintegrated off topic, personally being Wiccan I do not believe in Hell, besides we as human beings already do a good enough job of creating our own personal hell. Proving whether or not an afterlife place exists or does not exists would require that to find out one end their own life or die. When you look at it that way there is no proof for or against any afterlife beyond, as dying implies you dont get to come back and say hey I went here or there. Just my thoughts on the matter.

I swear, My God Daughter use to go to the school that Christ Community ran. They taught creationisim. When I asked her about Dinos, she told me the were Jesus horses. I asked you if that is what you beleived. You are not Potter's House and I know that you are not Christ Community. It is easier to have a conversation with someone when you know their faith background. I have internet access so I research before I post on the bible. Do not remember posting that Hell was not in the old testement. Maybe I said there was not "Firey" hell in the Old testement, I had someone close to me tel me that Christians used to view Hell as a cold place but at present I have found not scripture to support that. I have extensive religious background in both christioan and pagan backgrounds. I am not your average pagan. I lean more in the direction of science. I want proof. Where is Hell?

I really get bored with radical christian dishonesty. It is so much a part of them. Did you catch the story where the TX state school board voted back in March to remove Thomas Jefferson from the school textbooks because he clearly was not a christian? Or making a hero of McCarthy? Then they complain about the quality of education.

I attended the Potter's House for ten years. They call this either outreach or street evangelism. What I find interesting is that they say they are trying to win these children to Christ. When I told my pastor that my daughter, fifteen, was cutting herself his response to me was to ignore me, twice. He, then, said that people don't come to him for help because they are full of pride. My other daughter has had four surgeries since he has been pastor and we have yet to receive a phone call. SO, yes, come to a place where everyone cares!! Sounds like it, doesn't it?

Isn't this kind of crazy? The radio station and everyone else seems to be fine with the drug selling and cigarette smoking going on by these kids on that property but not with some religious people trying to get some message out. I've driven by there at lunch and after school and have to wait on these half dressed children to saunter across the street. I'm always curious to know if parents have any clue what their children are or are not wearing and who they are hanging all over.
Is it loud? If so, "Lodge a disturbing the peace" At least you can get their bullhorn taken away.

Do you remember the BackDoor by the bowling alley on South Florida in the Gibson Shopping Center? I lost some friends to that place and an older acquaintance that had to be deprogrammed!

The Back Door was a bar. The door is the "church" you are thinking about.

As for me, I'm thankful for Jesus. I get lost believing in simple evolution. I personally function better in a creation environment. I also like Jesus. I like how by nature, the cross is mind boggling. Especially in a internet world where most everything can be linearly comprehended. I've studied for years and am very comfortable believing that God satisfied Gods problem with us. I have gained a saying; true love will always find a way to love. That's sorta what Jesus is, Gods answer to Gods problem with my damagedness. Wonderful.
My grandma was a german gypsy, so I grew up with alot of superstition. I did not fare well under such tutelage. For some reason, something within me respected the ancientness of the writings found in the bible. It has also been firmly established that Jesus of Nazareth lived and died. Actually I find it quite astounding that He actually clocked into the world( Bethlehem census ) and He clocked out (Golgotha) Amazing. As for the questions of the Gospels being accurate or not that has never been the question. Some say Jesus was a good man, a prophet or priest but He left us with only one question or decision. Jesus was either the prophesied Emanuel ( God With Us ) or He was out of His freakin' mind. It's really quite simple!?(grin)

What where you looking for? A kick in the head for only thinking of taking your daughter to a pastor? What are you doing having kids when you are such a nutjob. Im sure you found a brand new shiny church with a brand new source of brainwashing and you feel good now that you dont have to be responsible for anything in life because its all gods plan.

thanks for your input Ex. Did you know that to the Jews, Jesus was a cult leader. A little bit of trivia.

Anyway........ the greater part of the U.S.A. got caught up in the name it and claim it, faith movement. Obviously, you were one. It's not a cult in the context you are speaking of. I think many of us while reading the most mind altering book ever written, have found a truth that captured us. And as most of the human male species are prone to obsessive compulsive behavior, we grab that bit of truth, throw the bible down and proceed in attempting to package and market the truth. Welcome to the U.S.A. Totally forgetting that little voice we once heard that told us that Jesus is the way, truth and life, not a found package of truth.
Jesus said,'I am the vine, you are the branch, abide in me and I in you and you will have life, know the truth and be led in the way'. Cut yourself off from the vine and you will quickly begin to die, in connection to this new life you have found.
As I've heard said, In your pursuit of the perfect church, if per-chance you find it, don't join it because then it won't be perfect anymore.(grin)

in case your thinkin' I attend Potters House, no I don't. 170 churches in this little town and I can't find one. Hey, I know I'm an ass_ole but heck who isn't. I find three kinds of people, those who admit they are ass_oles, those who don't admit it and the scariest of all those who don't know they are. Oh, to find a group of people that need a savior and know it will be that way till they die.
