These blogs wouldn't be what they are without Sam. Think about it we could talk about the positive things of Capitan, NM. What a great place to live. But then you have Sam. What a waste.

Virginia you have my full respect. You have the heart and the character to stand up for a good man and his family and you sign it with your name. You have made a difference and there are many people that are proud of you. I can only imagine what Officer Barnett and his family has to go through and how much it wears on them.

It's about time that Mr. Barnett and his family feel the support of their neighbors. Mr. Hammons you should see the signs of the time. You will hate it because it's the Bavarian Hillbilly quoting it and maybe more so because it's been M. Gorbachov who actually said it but he said it when he was with Ronald Reagan and both wanted the East German leadership see their days are counted down actually - Gorbachov said:

"The one that's late will be punished by history"

This is the moment to do the right thing, Mr. Hammons - don't be late or else history might punish you. It's obvious the good citizens of Capitan do see what you are doing and they don't like what you are doing and the best - now, they're speaking up and tell you to stop it. Remember a mayor is elected by the citizens and it's his duty to act in behalf of the citizens - your citizens are telling you what they want you to do - let's see if you are acting like a man of honor.

Anyone with half a brain can see there are more than just a couple of people concerned about the corruption in Capitan. To think otherwise makes one think you are just part of the problem.
