Just got back from a few days in AC, had a great time.
Had to get my fix of tobacco smoke. I stopped smoking 20+ years ago and still enjoy the smell of cigarette smoke, and AC is the only place left in the state where you can have the sweet smell of tobacco...
i can understand that you loved smoking but to say that smoking has a sweet smell i cant understand. Do you enjoy the smell of smoke when you walk past a burned out house or building. Some people enjoy the smell of a pipe or cigar that i can more understand than the smell of cigarettes. I personally think that pipes and cigars smell awful but to each his own.

Try and look up the FACTS on Perfumes or anything with scents. they have just as many cancer causing carcinogens as Second Hand Smoke. in fact many European countries have outlawed burning scented candles in any public places. If SHS was such a killer me and 60 million Americans over the age of 60 would have been dead a long long time ago. we came from a time when SHS was all over the place, you could smoke anywhere in those days including planes, buses, stores and movie theaters.. and guess what I see the cancer rates % were NO HIGHER in those days...

The only way to save AC is a total take over by the State.

City government is corrupt to the core.

The city is a slum.

There is plenty of blame to go around but, the majority of the blame rests with the local government.

i find it funny that people who hate perfume love the smell of cigerattes and ash trays. Try buying a good bottle of perfume put on tastefully. Hey you know its not just old woman who wear perfume its all the young people and tastefully dressed people. Its sucsessful people and people who care about hygene. TAke a shower wash your hair put on clean clothes that do not smell of smoke some nice perfume and a nice outfit and its just heaven. Most people would never want to smell from smoke but a nice smelling perfume is wonderful. I am so sorry for you that you sense of smell was destroyed by all you husbands pipe smoke and you smoking cigarettes. I feel bad for you must be horrible to smell like a burned out building.

Right on NJ GAL = you hit it right on the head = people have been
smoking in this country before we were even a country = the native
americans, the Dutch in the 1600's then pipes & cigars in the 18th
century and then cigarettes in the 19th century = if SHS does kill enmasse then there would be no people left in the U.S.
The SHS people tend to ignore history.

LIKE you said once before, to each his own . I look at perfume as one Horrible smell trying to cover up another, Most people I have run into that love perfume are Prostitutes. and look at the studies done on anything scented, they are WORSE in the amount of known cancer causing carcinogens, but the perfume does NOT reveal what is in their product since it is called a secret ingredient protected by law. If the cigarette companies did that they would be hung.

My husband does NOT smoke and never did. I stopped smoking 20+ years ago. You are getting just like DON, if you do not agree with someone you start making nasty remarks. UYA

I know exactly who you are. You are an uninformed person. Are the woman in your crowd too cheap to buy a 100 dollar bottle of perfume or just too poor. Prostitutes only wear perfume nope its prostitutes smoke welfare receipents smoke low lifes smoke everyone who cares about nothing smokes. I find it very funny that people who love dirty ashtrays hate perfume tell me does your bathroom smell of poop or do you clean it with a product that takes away the smell. I am so glad i will never be invited to your trailer......

Now get with the program and go ride your horses your husband got you. He got too confused couldnt keep up his lies anymore so he stopped comming here or is here under another name.

You obviously have it backwards. those of us who keep our bodies CLEAN with soap and water do NOT need to spray on some smell cancer causing garbage on us to make us smell like a prostitute ....

NSNM.

I found a few articles on what science says about perfumes or anything scented.. Most articles put them in the Same category as second hand smoke..

""Barely a decade ago, people even SMOKED in the workplace! Today that would be considered ludicrous. And why? Because smoke contains hazardous chemicals and pollutes the air for everyone.Precisely the same argument applies to perfumes.""

i went to Macys today for last minute gifts lots of perfume at around 100 dollars a bottle now you would never spend that when you can get someone a carton of cancer sticks and make them stink like an ashtray. I feel bad for you because you hate anything thats nice i suppose you buy your clothes at the salvation store lol
