We are on Denver just down the road from you and have not found out any info about our street. We live in MD but are visiting family in NJ. When I found out something I will try to relay it to you. GABE

We still haven't heard anything about Newark Avenue in the Crest, but as you suggested the Cape May Herald site is helpful. Just looked at photos showing flooding at Myrtle and New Jersey avenues on the Herald site. Check the "Most Popular" (far right, under the ads) and click on Hurricane Sandy videos for brief video and about 25 still photos. Also checking YouTube for any updated videos.

Does anyone know how the roads are getting into Wildwood? Or if the year round hotels are open this weekend? My husband and I had planned a weekend getaway for my birthday.=/

Not being rude here, but the folks in that area have sustained flooding, property damage, loss of power and a multitude of other perils. Most have evacuated and some cannot get back into their communities because essential services are not restored. I hope you have a nice birthday, but Wildwood you can visit another time. Whatever employees who are fortunate enough to be in their homes will have enough to clean up at home and at their job sites, so I don't know who would be available to make up the beds and deliver clean towels.
