A further expansion of the Morey empire. It's nothing new that code changes for some people.

Wasn't it last year Morey's put alcohol at the snack bar by the water park. Wasn't it the year before last that Morey's extended the pier and put up that ugly steel wall to protect the empire.

The wall looks trashy along with the dumpsters that are disgusting. The steel wall and the dumpsters don't belong on the beach. Morey's wanted a wall and the wall was built. Politics in the town of Wildwood are bad. The level of corruption unacceptable. I have faith that one man is ready to take on the free rides that seem to be given to some.

The Morey empire has elements of both a vertical and horizontal monopoly in Wildwood. Once you understand the holdings of the empire you'll see a monopoly.

The Morey Empire has dumped chlorine water from the water park onto the beach at night after 10 all summer long. I actually took video and pictures because I was so disgusted they were dumping chlorine in the sea.

This doesn't seem like it's environmental friendly. I don't even think it's legal to dump anything on the beach. But, I'm not DEP. I'm just a local trying to make it in this town with seasonal employment.

This is all about the money. It is certainly not about making Wildwood a better family destination.

The drunks on the boardwalk will not make things better for Wildwood.

I don't think anyone see the implications of this decision, but we'll need more police and I'm sure the Morey's aren't footing the bill. They drive trucks on the beach wherever and whenever. They have a free pass.

Well, Wildwood is NOT a Methodist town, or even a evangelical town, so why not? THe Crest neds to update its stupid evangelical Protestant drinking laws as well. Come into the 21st century, please.

That's the reporting you get with amateurs. He/she must have just been hired from a middle school newspaper. Probably never visits the city

I'm Champ Thomes...Bartender The Red Parrot Lounge since 2003. Only bar on the boards for 8 years before Morey's supposed 1st.bar??? 14 years I've been the first and original bartender constant. Also, 18th and boards you are treated like a valued customer prices/drinks other than the mainstream, tourist prices they hit you with. Cheapest and best drinks! Drink from a Local Master Libationist not from some foreigner hired one day for that shift.

I love Wildwood Crest! One of the reasons... it's a dry town. I don't see it as having anything to do w/religion. It's beautiful & peaceful. Ya don't have to go far, to get alcohol. I'm 59 yrs. old, & yes I partake of an awesome bloody mary from time to time.
