Is Buchheit's closing in Perryville? Lots of talk going around. Guess the Jackson one is next. No great loss.

Not many good places to buy boots in Cape or Jackson. They have to stay open.

The Perryville Buchheit is one of our best stores and we have no plans on closing it. We have been in the Perryville community for 13 years already, and we look forward to many many more. We are getting ready to do some remodeling in the store though to give you the best shopping experience possible. Buchheit as a company is continuing to grow as well; we have also remodeled our stores in Jackson, Herculaneum, Mo and Jacksonville, IL with continued growth of Agri and Trucking divisions and This summer we will open our 8th store in House Springs, MO.

As a citizen of the community, I have found that Buchheit does offer a wide variety of items. It's a good one stop shop and if I can't find something anywhere else, Buchheit is my next stop. I don't see them going away anytime soon if they are continuing to grow.

Menards can shove their rebate. Lowe's and Buchheit's for me. I have to go through the lumber piece by piece at Lowe's and pick out the better from the culls.
Buchheit's loads the lumber and you have to take what they pick. I stand beside my truck and inspect each piece as it's being loaded. I don't have time to return warped, damaged and knotty lumber.
