I knew it was coming. A trolley car running from downtown to the casino. Who could not see that coming?

Utter disgrace to every taxpayer in the City of Cape. What's next? A city park just for dogs?

Broadway will be ruined when snow and ice are scraped off the pavement. The tile will not withstand the harsh winter, salt, blading, etc.

The casino did not build a parking lot for their workers. Workers have to park downtown and that is why there is a trolley. It was originally to be used to bus the employees in. I assume is still is. I can also believe they have a shuttle picking up downtown shoppers.
An employee parking lot is supposed to be built soon.

express train would be better. put up a train above all the streets, and have cerain buildings to drop you off in. the trains could take you anywhere, and everywhere.

Ever heard of the Missourian? You should check it out now and then. They're online, you know.

Yes, they are online and they charge for their service just as they do for the newspaper. Nothing is free.

I've never been charged to read a story. Guess I'm special. Either way, you can still go there and see the headlines if you want.

Yes, there is an expense involved regardless of how you receive the SE Mo.

SOMETHING had to be done about the intersection of W & Lexington, though. A roundabout isn't bad, as long as people know how to use them.

I read about the trolley car, too. Didn't Cape have a trolley at one point?

I would love to have a roundabout like the famous, old one in Illinois. Cape citizens would grasp how it works.

Unfortunately, the roundabouts in Cape and near Chaffee are not aesthetically pleasing.
