Well I bought a 99 Sonata years ago for a work car and I now have 280,000 miles on it. I have taken car of it and mostly highway miles. If you are thinking about a Hyundia look at the reviews and ratings for the car. Hyundai is making better vehicles now. The new sonata is rated very well.

But.....Ward Hyundai charges an extra $2000 for the "Diamond Plus" protection. So when I went to buy a new Sonata I went to Mungenast Hyundai in Florissant. No extras added on. I used Ron Payne, tell him Merinda sent you.

Ward Hyundai does have a good service department BTW.

Still foreign junk. Most of the profits still head over to the slant-eyes. Keep telling yourself they're American. Morons.

I love my Hyundai Accent but I hate Ward Hyundai. Oh well, I'd still buy another Hyundai but probably from somewhere else.

Besides, it is hard to call the "American" car companies American with them building so many cars in Mexico.

I went to buy an Elantra and they gave a $3000 discount but when we got to the table, they took most of that back with thier stupid Diamond Plus crap.....I told them I was not interested and they said it was already on the car. This is a crock of bull!!! I pay insurance to cover my car if it gets tore up, I don't need any crap like that!! And, I was lied to TWICE by two different people at the dealership. The trade-in value on my car dropped about 3500 when we got down to the paperwork. I told them they could keep their car!!! I have another dealership working on finding me exactly what I want. They are not very professional and run aroung like chickens with the head chopped off.........Won't be back there!!!

Well that sucks, the dealerships don't make a good name for themselves when they scam people like that

The new genesis coupe looks awesome, but not worth the hassle of a crap dealer

I hate their commercials!! They are sooo annoying! I would NEVER buy a car from ward, even if I wanted a Hyundai! And from the looks of this thread, I'm not the only one who feels this way! I hope the owner, a higher up, or the marketing genius that comes up with those annoying commercials at ward reads these posts, then they would know what people think of their business!

Yes they are me and my husband traded our car to them for a 2011 Elantra and a week later chose to take the car back cause they didn't consider working for workforce a real job and stuck us in a used car that we didn't want and got rid of the car we traded and harassed me about the used car when we brought it back and then while my husband was at work they drive the car to our house and left it with the keys in it plus the same day they went to my husband work and harassed him there

@2010 bride, that sucks for you! HAHAHAH. I think I have talked to you in person, because I have heard that story before. Although workforce pays, it is not a Full time PERMANENT JOB. It is temporary employment, and can end at any time.

Me and my wife used to own a 2002 Hyundai Elantra, and that car was amazing. So we decided another Hyundai would only be right. We traded it in for a 2011 Hyundai Sonota (2010 Car of the Year) COUGH COUGH. The car is amazing, and drives well. It has amazing safety ratings, and gets damn near 40 mpg on the highway. Had it for 7 months and no problems at all. I would HIGHLY recommend Hyundai, as we have been driving one for the past 9 years and had NO issues what so ever. And for someone to compare Hyundai to Kia, your sir are a fucking moron.

Hyundai owns Kia. It is fair to compare the two. It'd be the same as driving a Lincoln and saying that Ford sucks.

I used to sell cars in Cape before Ward came to town. We had to try to convince people not to believe all of the ads they run about super low impossible payments. People would drive to Illinois then come back to us after learning the truth.

Yes, they heavily discount cars. But, as a poster above pointed out, they then add in tons of crap like undercoating, fabric protection, etc. Then they will charge you $199 for a pinstripe that cost them $10. They are full of lies. Kia is owned by Hyundai. Check out a Kia Optima, Sorento, or Sportage. Great vehicles (now, they weren't back in 04 when I started). Check one out.

You should read a Moroni label on a Ford or Chevy product and see how much of these American products are manufactured abroad. You WILL be surprised.
