I think the new dress code is wonderful ! Keeps their mind on school and the reason why they are there !

Hopefully this encourages more parents to pull their kids out of the educational wasteland we call public school and get them a real education through home schooling or a private school. Public schools are nothing but a Republican-run operation to rewrite history and brainwash kids.

"Keeps their mind on school"

No it doesn't.
Teenage kids think about anything and everything but school while there are at school.

I think an even better dress code would be RED shirt, RED pants, RED socks, and RED shoes with the hammer and sickle emblem (Communist sign) on front and back of the shirt. That way the kids can match not only the direction the public school system is headed, but the way this country is headed also.

If the school wants uniforms they should have to provide them.

Well I think its a good thing! My kids have graduated cape central. But I remember buying a certain color shirt, hat, or shoes and my kids wouldnt wear them because they said that certain colors or brands meant different things to different people. examples are gangs or race. With dress code in place kids wont be sagging, or worried about that stuff at school where you should be learning.!!!

And I would think uniforms would be alot cheaper anyway. The well to do people are just mad cause their kids will have to look like everyone else and not get to wear 60 an80 dollar jeans and stuff!!

Actually, kids can wear the jeans you are talking about... As long as there are not rips or tears. I know mine will be... Well, truth be told, their Miss Me's are $130+
