The best place in town for pet grooming is, by far the "Special Touch" at 2719 Thomas Drive near the American Legion off North kingshhighway.

Toni is an excellent, competent, groomer with decades of experience, she is also very friendly to her customers, and does her very best to make sure the customer leaves extremely satisfied with her work.

You won't be disappointed. You have my word on that.

I worked at special touch and have seen sissy and axel hit on dogs, Danas i know nothing of the people but i have had to fix grooms in the past, petco store i worked there and their troopers i have seen yell and scream at dogs and they have the dirtiest salon I've ever seen, A-1 has their windows boarded up so i could just imagine what they are doing in there... The new shops in cape i don't know about.

I do know that Kim in Jackson (k-9 klips) is an excellent groomer and Toni now has her shop in Anna (FurBabies) and she has more certifications and experience than anyone i know of in this area.

I switched from special tough to Dana's because the last few times I took my dogs there they would act all skittish and nervous.(my dogs are very well taken care of and very happy dogs!) and Dana's is very caring place my dogs happily go in there without force. I recently had to take my dogs to special touch (had a accident that required emergency grooming)., and one started shaking uncontrollably and whining miserably and the other started rooting so deep in my side I felt bad for leaving her. When I called to check on them (cause they are my babies) they couldn't find them!!!! I was on my way to the police station to find my babies when they called me back and said they had the names down wrong on the dogs! Um emergency or not. MY BABIES WILL NEVER EVER EVER GO BACK TO SPECIAL TOUCH!

I used to work with Dana a long time ago. She is sweet and puts alot of effort into what she does. I have been taking my dog to her for the past 2 years and my dog loves to go in there. All her employees are nice and caring. I have had the pleasure of working with a few of them in the past as well. I would highly recommend Dana's for all your pets needs!

Kim, don't you think they should search Jackson & Cape Topix for "K-9 Klips" before making that mistake?

Obviously, you haven't read the treads regarding K9 Clips and Kim on the Jackson AND Cape Topix.
Your opinion is vastly different than most.

One or two people with grudges you mean?
I don't believe a word.
Anyway, they are closed for business as of today.
Kim was apparently stealing from the owner.

Not her first rodeo, was it? Is that why she encouraged people to bring their pets in when he wasn't around? Counting former employers, there's a lot more than one or two people with grudges.
