If you want to raise the spirits of your employees and keep them there and happy...instead of spending our money on crap like you did...give your employees better raises, better insurance, and better fans...lol...its hotter than shit! Hell...Lets just UNIONIZE and see what happens. OOOOOOhhhhh...wouldn't THAT burn their lil attitudes a bit lol (Thought I'd just give you something to think about since the contract is up in a couple of weeks) Lets go for the GUSTO!!

Isn't it true that Havco couldn't afford to give they're remaining employees the $25 gift card they usually give out every year? I know times r bad but that's ridiculous. There's not many employees left so why couldn't they give them a $25 gift card, that's not much at all. I bet the remaining managers still got some sort of bonus. Havco is a joke now.

Yes its true. We didnt get anything, but a meal that was supposed to be Thanksgiving and Christmas together. Yes its sad!!!!!!! I know that management probably got something, they always do. They are the only ones Havco cares about.

Havco is doing all they can for their employees, considering the economic mess the country is in now. Be glad you are not in Delta Express's shoes.

havco has always treated their employees very well, times are really bad for all businesses right now, i'm just thankful i still have a job.
they have always given a raise every year, but not this year, they have always treated us fairly on our health and dental insurance. i wouldn't say that havco just cares about the management, they expect the managers to use their own money to buy dinner for the regular employees and pay for a plant wide meal.
in the past they have had big christmas parties and given out yearly gifts, this year they just couldn't afford it. they are just thankful that the doors are still open and they are trying to keep it that way.

Elphaba when I worked there the employees usually had dinners for themselves & the managers were welcomed to eat also. So managers paying for employee dinners is nothing big, they can afford it. And as far as raises go, if u got a raise it goes towards paying for the insurances going up every year, so u really never see the raise. I understand they're trying to keep the doors open, but at the same time people with real bills are still struggling. And is Billy Mercer still a manager out there, if they're trying to cut down on things start there with the managers. I mean how many managers do they still have?

when did the employees pay for a plant wide dinner? you must be talking about when some of the women would decide to bring stuff in themselves. management doesn't make much more than a level 3. should a manager that is trying to support his family be required to pay for a plant wide dinner? they all have bills to pay, too. the managers aren't all living lives of luxury. i don't know of any that live in a really nice house and drive really nice vehicles, most of them have had the same ones for years.
of course the price of insurance goes up, it does for everyone, try getting it on your own and see how much you pay. i've gotten a raise every year that i have worked there and it has been reflected in my paycheck.
they have cut way back on the managers and they do expect them all to work along with the hourlies.

Elphaba it's obviuos you're a manager, so answer how many managers r left out there, & how much of a bonus did u guys get. One of the hourlies said they didn't even get the $25 gift card they usually get every year. And yes I was talking about the employees getting together and bringing food to eat for everyone to eat. And as far as getting insurance on your own, u can find cheap insurance on your own, u just got to look in the right place. And 1 other thing u must be the only person to get a raise this year, from what I understand, business was to bad for anyone to get raises out there this year, so congrats to u. If your employees want real stability tell them to come out here to Orgill. Even during these tough economic time the business is still strong here. Managers are great out here, the benefits are excellent, & most important there's stability. Get smart Havco workers before it's to late.

i'm not a manager and i did not get a raise this year, just like everyone else. all the managers got a pay cut this year, also, so i wouldn't say that they are being treated better than all the other employees, they are also expected to work along with all the other employees, i think they have cut down to 5 or 6 in the plant, that's still too many for as few people that we still have working.
where can you find insurance for your entire family for less than $20 a week?
