The last couple of times I have to been Jimmy Johns in Cape the service has been horrible. Last night 8-2-11 the guy working the counter was texting the entire time taking our order. Left 4 things off we ordered, when we had to go back up and order the rest he left off another item. Took us 3 debit card charges to get out of the place. The sandwiches were made wrong when we tried to tell them it about it, we had to wait until the guy was finished sending a text before he would talk to us and whole we were talking to him about the wrong order, his friends came in and he started talking to them. Just horrible service. Is this a norm for this place?

not sure about that place but the texting seems to be the norm with a certain age group in these jobs. I hate having to wait at a checkout for the cashier to finish sending their text before they start ringing up my stuff. really???

I've never been there but if it is then count me out . I heard though how people just love their food! It seems this is the norm just about everywhere now lately . I'm sure though the people who work at fast food places or at a business probably think people should put their phones away while ordering things too .That could get confusing !

WHat you described is NOT typical behaviour at Jimmy Johns. I would complain to the manager or owner if I were you.
Every time my family has gone in, our sandwiches have been delicious and satisfying.
As a matter of fact..now that you bring their name up..it's been awhile since we've eaten there. May have to go today!

I love their food too, just the service keeps getting worse and worse. I am aggravated they advertise they have sandwiches with alfalfa sprouts and they don't even carry sprouts anymore. May have been a recent change I don't know.

Their food is excellent and their service is excellent. I think that complainer is lying. He/she probably works at Subway. Jimmy Johns is all around great. I've eaten there many, many times. I've had food delivered, I've eaten inside and ordered through the drive-thru. I've never had an issue or incorrect order. Employees are always very kind and helpful. I don't like their chips but that's just a matter of taste.

I had excellent service there got my food about as fast i got my change back but these kids and there damn cell phones is rude and there is no place for them on working hours report them to the manager !

jimmy took away sprouts and peppers---well, they replaced the more mild ones with hotter ones--since those two changes, I have not eaten there because sprouts and mild peppers were the crucial ingredients to my perfect sandwich.
