Does anyone know anything about Kid's Plus at Fitness Plus? Is it a good place to take my one year old just while I work out for a couple of hours a few days a week? I HAVE to start exercising, but hate my child being around tons of germs and new people... Thank you!!:)

Kids Plus and the kids' activities are the reason we joined Fitness Plus over Health Point. I have never had any reservations about leaving any of my kids there.

I really liked their gym. It is very clean and is a great place to exercise. But just be cautious with getting a membership there, they will NOT let you out of a contract. You will have to pay the remaining annual membership fees to get out of it. The only way out without paying is if you get bad hurt, relocate, or die. They still require proof even then. It's a contract and they stick to it come hell or high water.

Just a little warning just in case you start exercising and do not stick with it like many folks.

That's the way it is everywhere, isn't it? That's why they make you sign a contract.

too overpriced! would be comfortable paying 35 to 40 for individual and 75 for family. will not join this gym or healthpoint because overpriced. plus you have to work out next to slobs going through rehab. if you are going to ask me to pay high dollar for a high club then separate us!

Ya, the working out next to some PT patient that reaks of smoke sucks. And rehab is really bad about not cleaning machines or acting like the patients are more important than the Fitness Plus clients.

Those smelly crippled rehab patients could be one of your relatives you inconsiderate bastards. They pay more in 1 visit to rehab than what people pay for memberships. There is a difference between a rehab patient and a sweaty member wiping down there machines, the lack of respect you people show, or dont show the elderly makes me sick maybe someday your family members will be so fortunate to have a stroke and have some disrespectful people like yourselves bash them. Next time you open your mouth make sure you can shove your whole foot in

Thanks for the feedback, everyone, but I'm already a member (in a contract :)) and like the gym. I just haven't been going much because of our child. I'm not sure about the Kid's Plus (where they watch children while you work out). Any experience with that? My child gets sick a lot so that's my primary concern. Thanks!

We took my son there when we went there. He was only about 8 months old but he did really well there. We never had any problems

The ladies there are great! I took my daughter there many times in the past few years and they always remember her,she loved it so much she was never ready to leave by the time i was done with my workout. As far as catching sicknesses I believe if your child is sick they can't go anyway.

Thanks for the input, everyone!!

I was a member at Fitness Plus but I switched to Anytime Fitness, mainly due to me being able to workout at anytime, the staff knows what they are talking about and it is an actual. It isn't a shared placed for rehab patients and gym members.

I know this sounds absolutely stupid and, well, call me crazy, but I bet you could find that out if you call Anytime Fitness. Then again, it makes much more sense to just post the question on Topix then sit back and wait for an answer.
