Is there anyone one still around that talks about the 1941 crash?
Was it close to Benton?
Just happened to read an article and thought it was interesting.I visit there at least once a year and would love to talk to locals about it.

Actually,

During my last trip there, several people told me they heard about it. I also found out there was a military base close by, but was shut down.

The story is really strange, a pastor is called out to pray for crash victims and when he gets there discovers they are actually e.t.'s. His daughter now lives in Texas, but, says her dad always said it was the truth.

Yep that's the story i read about to. I think there's a short online somewhere about it. Actual photos and pictures of people that were involved. So i have to ask,do you think we are inhabited by other life forms unknown to humans currently?

I keep an open mind on just about everything. I was near Oran , Morley and Benton MO, so, I think I was close to the site. I met a couple of people who say there use to be a lot of UFO sightings in the area.

You know i'm really not sure how i came across it myself. But i do know that it was said to be quit the event at the time and military officials covered it up,but the Pastor is the one with all the answers,he was saying how they called him to actually pray for the "beings". If you google or yahoo it,search for Cape Girardeau UFO crash..Damn i have to go hunt for it again myself but the OP blew my lid and i never expected anyone to mention this.

Keeping an open mind is the way to be,i personally think we have outside influence in our everyday living. I think as a human race we are super dumb,so how did we develope this unique tech we walk around with in our pockets and PadPads and stuff. Yet we can't understand Biology enough to cure a common cold.?? I can keep going,so refreshing to talk about something else for a change.

It was somewhere between cape and Chaffee. According to what the preacher has said, the crash was a thirty minute drive out of cape. But you have to remember it was thirty minutes out of 1941 cape not present day. Yes there was an air base in sikeston.

That's correct, you would think as big a deal this area makes everything...We would be a modern day Roswell too.

Fronaberger supposedly took a photo or two and the negs are still around, but hid out.

It happened, according to research, near the corner of 74 - 55 interstate up near the woods.
