Hate? bigotry? what are you talking about? So its ok for you to attack a christian but not alright for us to stand up to you? Its called first amandment rights . As you saw on the news America is fed up with the likes of you and stands in support of fellow christians.
Attack? Protests are not attacks. Conservatives sent threats to JC Penney for making Ellen DeGeneres their spokesperson, all we did was protest Chick-fil-A funding hate groups. You also don't understand the first amendment. The first amendment protects you from government censorship, not private protest. What I saw on the news was a vocal minority giving themselves diabetes so they could fund hate crimes.

but isn't it hypocritical to only pick on chickfila? if all these companies are spreading hate with their greedy capitalist ways why would you want to support them?

So it's ok to spend money on groups that kill gay people just not on people who fund hate groups?

It's not ok, but it's also not legitimately possible to avoid buying gas in most places, whereas it's simple to not eat fast food. Chick-fil-A also gives money to a group that funnels it to a group that kills gays in Africa by the way.
If you had bad wiring in your house and also a crack in your foundation but you could only afford to fix one, would you choose to fix neither problem since you can't fix both?

There should be a button near the top of the page to remove this thread from your tracker if you don't want updates from it.

If you use Topix for your phone, delete the app and reinstall it. This only takes a few minutes and you will no longer be following any threads.

sounds like you're not really dedicated to your gay causes. stop wasting everyones time if you can't be fully committed to the gay movement.

I would fix the worst of the two. You spending all this time and energy on a restaurant CEO that is a Christian and pro traditional marriage. Shouldn't that energy be put on how homosexuals are treated in other countries?

I'm gay. And I honestly am ashamed by the immaturity that other gays have displayed during this boycott. So what if some old fart doesn't like gays? So what if he chooses to spend his money in ways that you find offensive? They still hire gays for employment. They still serve gay customers in their business. So what is the big deal? The only person stopping you from living your life as 'normal' as you would wish, is you!

And you look like a ignorant jackass expressing that you have 'rights' when you yourself are preventing others of their rights. The right of speech and the right to eat the damn chicken.

You have a blessed day bitches.

The Bible and God are pretty clear on this subject. Go ahead and damn yourselves. I like Chic-fil- A, and admire their courage to stand up to a certain group's never ending quest to mainstream an abomination.

The Bible and God are also pretty clear on gluttony and keeping your body pure. So if you think shoving a greasy, deep fried, fat-filled chicken sandwich down your throat is a good way to tell gay people "f--k you," then you're just plain dumb.

I just wanted to say THANK YOU for your post!
If only other people would have the insight/intelligence/common sense that you have!!
To me, this has truly about Freedom of Speech -
Nowhere does Cathy explicitly mention same-sex marriage or homosexuality. He was directly asked about the company's support of traditional family values.

He replied: ""We are very much supportive of the family -- the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that.
"We operate as a family business ... our restaurants are typically led by families; some are single. We want to do anything we possibly can to strengthen families. We are very much committed to that," Cathy emphasized.
"We intend to stay the course," he said. "We know that it might not be popular with everyone, but thank the Lord, we live in a country where we can share our values and operate on biblical principles."

He stood up for what he and his family have since 1946.
It wasn't about OFFENDING anyone- just his personal beliefs. The nation is SO worried about being 'politically correct'- yet all the hate that came out of this makes that a 'oxymoron'!

Again - I DO admire you for expressing your opinion. It was right on!!

ps(tongue in cheek);)--- I am not really 'comfortable' with your name - but HEY...WHO am I to tell ya "I am offended"-"How dare you offend me" **boohoo boohoo****screaming & acting like a little spoiled brat**.
as for NOW it is STILL a free country & HOPEFULLY stay that way and you can use whatever name you feel like/whatever floats your boat!!:D
