Driving drunk is not .08 or point .13 . I can get more of a buzz by slamming a red bull than that. They should have a law against DRUNK DRIVING, but not kill the social drinker. I feel terrible for the families that have been affected by drunk drivers, but lighting a smoke, changing the radio station, texting, blood pressure meds, cough medicine, smoking, anti- depressive meds, and countless things effect you just as bad as a .08 buzz.

Dui is a huge money maker for the state.

Brilliant exchange of constitutional thought. I also enjoyed the stimulating Red Bull analogy. Never mind the statistics dating back since the invention of the automobile documenting the thousands of folks each year that are killed or injured by drunk drivers or an actual recitation of some part of the constitution giving anyone the right to endanger others or indulge in illegal activity.

No wonder you're on probation and seem to be making a life pursuit of getting away with drinking. My experience is that eventually you'll get caught AGAIN and will stand in front of whichever judge ends up disposing of your case and beg for a second, or third, or fourth chance, etc.

I haven't once heard anyone tell a judge how unfairly they're being treated because Red Bull drinkers are getting away with driving "buzzed" and they're being punished for only driving drunk.

I've never heard any great constitutional argument either. Just a lot of "I'll be different...I've changed...I've found God...I deserve another chance" diatribes.

If you don't believe me folks, just show up for court during days when our judges are sentencing people and listen in for a while. It's pretty pathetic. The fact some of these above posters are on probation only means it's because they did exactly what I'm talking about instead of pressing their rights when they had their chance to tell the judge what they really thought.

Pretty pitiful. Don't listen to these idiots, kids. They're the dregs of society your parents have been telling you about.
