I think this is a great idea. There are numerous deer getting hit by cars on mt auburn and snake hill. Also they are causing damage to peoples gardens and lawns. I think that you should have to pay a higher price for a tag and a list be kept of those allowed to hunt, where they are hunting, and the deer they take. Also I believe the meat from the deer taken should be donated to needy families who could use the assistance. All you people oh please don't kill the pretty deer!.... They won't kill them just to kill them. They will be using the meat. And in then reducing costs caused by damage. It really is a good idea. There should be certain times and places they are allowed to hunt. Also, maybe even be required that a conservation agent be with the hunters at all times. Opinions??

You are S T U P I D!!!! Plain and simple! Why would I, a "hunter", spend my money on bullets/arrows and other needed "gear", my time and hunting skills to be MADE to donate to the needy? What if I or MY family wanted to keep the meat I SHOT but according to YOUR idea, I would have to donate it! What if that was the only meat that was to be put in MY freezer this winter? I don't think anyone should have to be MADE to donate anything! Now, I do understand, IF someone hunted just for the sport of it and never intended to eat the meat, then by all means they should donate it. As far as a Conservation Officer sitting next to me while I hunt, you've got to be kidding me! Are you going to pay the agent's "babysitting" fees? Are you going to bail me out of jail since it was YOUR idea to have them sitting next to us and I just had to knock the shit out of him or her for talking, phone ringing, picking their nose or what ever else it is that they so choose to do that annoys me and risks me losing or missing my deer? You are no kind of hunter I'd want to see in city limits hunting. Get a life and off this subject! Better yet, go donate your life to the needy.

Wow, what an over the top flaming response. I doubt the OP is much of a hunter based on some his ideas but i do think that bowhunting only should be allowed in certain areas of cape. It should be a draw hunt only and background checks should be done on the hunters
