First of all, it is my belief that the geraral puplic applicants are so for down the "hire from" list that very few ever get considered for a job. After the managers get thier spouse's, kids, and other's on the list. Then the pecking order goes to the perment dayshift folks to get their family on the list and then you go to the rotational dayshift suckass' or the hand picked folks. Then to the rotatinal shift workers. Now that we got all of those spots filled then we get the top scoring double minority, them top scoring single minority, and then we get to the all others..... OBTW there's a ton of dumb chit programs and systems we have acronyms for... Those listed above (TPM, 5S) were just a couple

being related did not help me at all, niether did my 2 years experince at manpower, 42 letters of rec. from pg employees. I took the test twice and bugged the shit out of our hr lady till i was finally called for an interview. They hold testing n big groups, if you dont pass u will probably get an email saying there not hiring. Personally i cant believe some of the ppl that do get hired here, and as for the "dopeheads" hah some of that may be true but if you take the contractors out of that equasion the number drops dramatically

My husband just got the email yesterday to hire him..... But he does have family that works there and he knows the hiring manager...

Nepotism is on overload there. Cape Girardeau needs to call for the random drug testing asap and they will see many spots open for deserving, drug-free hardworking people. I sat at a bar one day where several were celebrating a birthday I think and between the marijuana and the pills being passed, I am sure there are about at least 20 people who wouldnt be able to pass on the spot. P&G get your cups out and hire some regular people with experience and ethics.

My brother has been trying to work here for over 5 years and he is a great worker looking for better benefits then the job he has been at nearly 7 years. One of the security guards joked with him at the last test that he is a regular there. Its really sad because he would make a great employee and I just find it absolutely DISGUSTING that these people are only staying clean long enough to apply and then laughing at their lack of testing further on. If public aid needs to test than the good jobs full of friends and family sure does too

It must not be too difficult to get a job at P&G. Look at some of the people working here! Chesley Bess is a great example of, "where in hell did he come from".
