I'm new to the area and was thinking about applying for a job at the Drury Call Center, can anyone tell me anything about the job or the type of people who work there?

I've heard of the place and considered applying myself, but I wonder if it is ran with a proffesional atmosphere or is it like every other place on this town, somewhere for spouses to go and cheat on their significant others

I worked there about 8 years ago and it seemed ok then. A lot of sitting, which I wasn't used to, so I wasn't there very long. They had a good training program and would work with your schedule if you had another job or were a student and everyone was very nice.

I worked there for 3 years. When I left the new people were getting paid what it took me 3 years to make. Sad. But I liked the job and the people.

proffesional - it is a laid back atmosphere and from what I can tell not a lot of cheating going on. You are stuck on the phone 95% of the time so there isn't much time for that. There's a lot of down time between calls but it's 90% women who work there.

It's an easy job, you get paid a lot for what you do. But the mental strain of talking to some of the most RUDE customers on Earth does take a toll on you. Management is very caring but they are fairly strict on attendance. That's good, but they go on a point system so if you miss a day with a cold a doctor's note won't help unless you miss 3 days in a row for that ailment, then it just counts as one absence.

So, anyway apply now if you want in I know they were hiring but they might be done now. I have been there for almost 2 years and while I like it, I am looking for something with better hours.

the call center seems like a good place to work at first but it slowly eats away at your soul until you are full "familiarized" into the company.

I'll tell ya how they pay. They hand out paychecks on pay day numbnuts. No wonder you ain't got no job. Thy might pay you with bushells of apples though. How's that sound Jerry? So mr church drury, you'd a Asian and a black? I bet they won't hire you then. Theygot all kinda major laws against ya for acting that way. Damn I love cheese with mayonaise yhough. You go girl!

They get paid every two weeks. There r three interviews before you get hired. Once you pass your background check and drug screen you will be employed. FYI..drug screen is the mouth swab which is sent in to lab. The pay starts at 8.50/ 9.25 if you can work any shift. As far as cheating. Most people are older and there are alot of women hardly no men. The call center is really small compared to Nars. Health insurance through Anthem after 90 days. But really no room for advancement. If you want a job and not a career apply. Online applications/resumes get quicker reponses. Hope this helps. Good luck
