Um Stan, Dear... did you realize that if you are a single mother and hold down a job or even two, you can still qualify for food stamps and children are ALWAYS going to be eligible for Medicaid? Medicaid is so that these children can actually get the medical care they need and deserve. I don't care who are you... children do not choose who they are born to. They are ALL entitled to medical care and food. What kind of human are you anyway?

LOL at Bob. Exactly. You think you are confused... you should be a woman. You're whore if you use birth control, you're a slut if you don't and you get pregnant. You're a Octomom if you don't use protection and keep having children. Men think you're there is something wrong with you if you don't like sex.... Jeez..... Then you have the bonehead that started this thread that thinks it's a sin to use food stamps and/or medicaid. Oh, and all single moms are useless and don't work. Wow... it's not easy, ya know

I'm a single mom and I have medicaid on my daughter. But I do work and I dnt have food stamps. I feel like if I was to get food stamps like everyone is telling me to that it would prove that I am not able to provide for my child I am not against Medicaid not just becuse I have it for my daughter but because if I dnt have it I wouldn't bs able to pay her medical bills. My daughter just resently had rsv and there is no way that I would have been able to afford the medicine and the appt on my own. Now with that said I do believe that there are people on welfare that don't need to be on it they are just on it cause they don't want to get off there lazy ass and get a damn job. Ohh and one more thing if a girl is on birth control don't make her a whore it makes her smart enough to be careful.

A majority of the people who get food stamps or medicaid have jobs. It's just an urban legend that they don't. Probably it was started for political reasons and nobody has bothered to do a fact check when they believe it.

It's pointless to argue with anyone who believes that nonsense because they are more interested in justifying their hatred than the truth. Just roll your eyes and walk away... And for the love of all that's holy, don't breed with him.

Um dumba**. I know that. But we pay for our kids and sacrifice certain things to pay for their healthcare. Get a clue and be independent loser. Get off the government teet.

Hey Stan, Medicaid and SNAP(food stamps) are two different programs so someone who is on Medicaid for their child very well may have paid for what ever they were grilling. How do you know this person is on Medicaid or SNAP? Do you live with them? Related? Dating? Snooping through their mail?

Women are not on the same medical program as children and must work or be involved in work activities to qualify for SNAP.

BTW, you stated you pay for your kids, I assume that is with a job where taxes are taken out. If when you file your return you get Earned Income Credit I hate to break it to you but you are on the govt teat.

As to what kind of whore your mother was I do not know. You say she was not the kind of whore that expected free healthcare but I find it disrespectful that you refer to her as ANY kind of whore. Perhaps you need some therapy. Just sayin!

Every man, woman and child in America deserves to have some form of health coverage. Unfortantly most health care plans are outrageous. Same thing for food stamps. Everyone should be able to eat. I dont think candy and soda and junk like that should be covered with Food Stamps though and it does cover stuff like that. I dont give a shit if someone is on medicaid and/or foodstamps as long as they are doing their part to help themselves also. I have had to ask for assistance a couple of times to help my husband and I through some tough times. Once we were able to get back on our feet, we no longer needed the assistance and got off of it. It is meant to help people. If people are working and/or going to school to better themselves then they have every right to get assistance. Now to the idiot who started this thread, maybe you should be a little more clear about your statement you ignorant asshole. It is the people who have many kids who abuse the system or the ones who lie through their teeth and show up to fill out the food stamp application driving a brand new car and wearing expensive ass clothes that are screwing the good people over. I've had to report people to DFS because I knew they were lying to get assistance even though they didnt need it. Those are the people that should be prosecuted and forever banned from receiving help. There is nothing wrong with good people asking for help and anyone who has even the smallest brain would know that.

Every man, child and woman may deserve healthcare and they should get it. But they should have to pay for it just like every other man, woman, and child. No where in rye constitution does it say Life, Liberty, pursuit of happiness, AND FREE HEALTHCARE INSURANCE. Nancy, the wicked witch of the west, Pelosi said she thinks she meant this with the "Life" part. That is crap. There was not even an idea of health insurance back then. Now with that being said, I am not against Medicaid and Medicare. I pay my fair share. Over 1\3rd of my paycheck every two weeks goes to the government. I am content with that. I used Student loans and one time for about a month, when I was a kid, my mom got unemployment and food stamps. So I understand the need for it but nowadays it has became more of a lifestyle than assistance. For that reason I have become more harsh on entitlements. My mom has been in the same factory for over 40 years now, minus the one time they laid off everyone for a month. She is 64 now and still working. Get a job you lazy arse people. Stop sponging off me, my wife, my mom, soon to be my oldest son, and everyone else.

If you cannot afford to pay for the birth of a child you should NOT be having one! It is not our job to support you or the children you CHOSE to have. We have our own families to take care of. Over 80% of children born out of wedlock are born on Medicaid. That is ridiculous! It tells me that the lower class are the ones having most of the children out of wedlock. I know I'm tired of the irresponsible breeding and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Between 50-60% of Missourians were born on medicaid. I would love to see how well the state functions with half the population gone who do 99% of the actual labor.

Things are not so simple and haven't been for at least 25 years.

Maybe in your subsidized welfare neighborhood 50-60% of you girls get provided for by the government. That is probably true.
StateHealthFacts.org says nationwide 20% of the population is on medicaid with California highest at .29, Nevada lowest at .1, Mo being some where in between.
I thought you might be a welfare girl from your previous posts on other sites.
Did medicaid get you a computer for you to bad mouth those who earn their own way?
