I can't buy real dayquil anymore. That is BULLSHIT. I used to be if i had a cold or the flu or a sinus problem, i could go buy some of that nasty orange dayquil, gag down a shot, and I would be f**king CURED. I swear that stuff could probably cure cancer and AIDS, at least for a day or two.

Now when you buy dayquil, it just tastes like shit and has nothing else in common with the original thing. Butler county is full of pussies.

this is a simple way for the government to hit two birds with one stone, stimulate our economy and making it look like they are trying to put a stop to meth labs. because now people who do not have any health insurance, or are of poor means will not be able to have relief for their common allergy symptoms without going absolutely broke just to get sudafed or cough syrup. now the doctors who are going broke from lawsuits are going to be making bank just because the local governments are going comando with alternative motives. this is not to keep you away from meth people, it is a way to make money from you.

You know ephedrine was a controlled substance through most of the eighties and you never missed it. In fact ephedrine is not the best over the counter medication for suppressing cold symptoms. I haven't missed it at all and I rather like the lack of the tweekers taking up space in the stores...

Yes a free country, free to be as stupid as you want to be. Free to fry your brain cells on Anhydrous, Ether and Ephedrine. Free to not go to college and waist a life sitting around the trailer, watching WWE. What losers.

I have to disagree, Pseudoephedrine works the best for my sinus pressure however, I do understand the problem. I will have to suffer with going to the doc and getting a script a couple of times per year.

I was in Wal-Mart watching the line at the pharmacy. It is a neat game to pick out the ones who buy the cold medicine before they get to the counter. I can pick out right at about 98%. If I see anyone making or doing drugs I will turn them in. I don't care what people call me. And I am not afraid of threats. I have a Conceal and carry permit and I can hit the side of a barn. I have kids and I will not stand for anything like that in my neighborhood where my or anyone else's children play. It still blows my mind that people put that stuff in their bodies. I have heard what they put in them and you think anyone with common since would not do anything like that.

you wish that was me! i would never associate myself with people like YOU or anyone else who is involved in dope. Its very typical of a guilty person to lash out at the ones who they know are right. Meth makers, dealers and users should all be wiped from the face of the earth.

Can we get some drug tests that do more than keep pot heads out of work, if your job has usine tests, you prolly work with many coke/meth heads..

I guess its a personal preference but I dont like being around methheads crackheads coke fiends or alcoholics, pot heads kinda keep to themselves and dont steal or fight, yet they are by far still the most prosicuted group, guess cops are afraid of real criminals and need to justify their paycheck

I am from a small town south of Cape and know 4 a fact that there r many dope cooks amd their followers who drive 2 Cape on a daily basis 2 buy pills 2 cook meth with. Dope is a HUGE problem here. If Cape would stop selling the pills 2 these idiots maybe they wud quit cooking the shit so easily. I personally have allergies and get a cold a few times a year and tylenol sinus or cold always does the trick. Ive also tried perscription sudafed n never got any relief with it. It should b illegal 2 buy ANY of the ingrediants 2 cook meth with.. Atleast without an ID. Maybe the government should set up a website where all stores could enter the ID info and it send out an alert 2 the cops when someone is going from place 2 place buying ingrediants.

It has nothing to do with the "nanny government in a 'free' country." Manufacturing meth is a public safety concern. Local law enforcement around here cannot contain the epidemic all on their own, so it's imperative for communities to come together to address this problem. Trust me, I'm all for free will and personal responsibility as the next person, but meth poses serious threats to our towns and our children. It seems like you can't go a day without reading a story in the newspaper or hearing on the TV about a meth lab blowing up or someone getting arrested for cooking meth and there were children in the household. If you haven't read, there are statements in the U.S. Constitution "to promote the general welfare" and "provide for the common defense." If these ordinances are proving to be effective, the only way to further their efficacy is for our state and federal legislators to impose similar laws so that these people can't drive to some other city that doesn't have these ordinances to where they can buy their ingredients.

So the laws on meth aren't causing a very small percentage of people who WILL do meth at ANY cost to cook meth with whatever they can get their hands on.
Fair Use Noted ---> http://www.kci.org/meth_info/faq_meth.htm
Stated on above site:

Q: Why is meth use so prevalent?
A. Methamphetamine epidemic stems from two problems:
* steadily increasing importation of methamphetamine by organized trafficking groups like gangs; and
* clandestine manufacturing of methamphetamine by hundreds of users/dealers in small "mom and pop" labs.

Now think about that for a second. The first point states that gangs and other organized crime are steadily increasing importation. Meth isn't cheap. These guys make unfathomable amounts of money, which helps the big guys stay ahead of the police, or buy out the officials they need to.
The second point is very interesting as well. While it is known many people set up meth labs to cook dope, it is usually unknown by the user the potency of it or what the cook actually used to make it. And what that means is the people who risk felony imprisonment and most definitely their health to pay good money to get this drug don't even know how good or bad it is. And there's more then you know out there that are willing to take those risks.
Furthermore, I must say you are completely right in that police are having a hard time containing this problem. I also agree with you that communities should come together. Having a friendly neighborhood with good communication can help a lot of the problems we face everyday.

You are correct again. But yet you seem to miss the underlying causes to all of this. Right now, people are making meth to get high and to sell to get some more stuff to make meth to get high and to sell to get... You get my point. These people that cook this crap don't care who they sell to (they never card), as long as they know you're not with the cops. Which can be tricky thing to do, but sometimes kids circumvent this and can get their hands on it as well. But a little known fact is the ADD medicine that is prescribed to children and adults has the same exact effect of meth, except much cleaner and not as intense because it is made by actual chemists.
