I knew Dr Kamath personally for almost 20 years before I went to him as a patient. I had never needed therapy until certain life events struck me all at once. I had never dealt with such emotional adversity and my life rapidly began to fall apart. Though he knew me very very well personally, he treated me no differently than anyone else in my position. He was there when I needed him. It took almost two years, but Dr Kamath played an instrumental role in helping me bring myself from the brink of self-destruction and back to the path of normalcy. He also did it without any drugs...none. He does refer to his book, which I bought faithfully. The book and his treatment sessions formed an incredible experience that helped me connect my mind with my wisdom. He truly was a great doctor to me and I hope he is enjoying his well-deserved retirement. I don't think I'd be alive today if it weren't for him.

Dr. Kamath is truly one of the most intelligent, insiteful, caring men I've ever met. He is a good man, a Christian, not that there's anything wrong with that,a man who can and will help others, if allowed to do so.

I was very happy we were fortunate to have Dr. Kamath in Cape. I think he retired but, if he is still seeing patients, highly recommend him. Hope the best for you!
