Well, communism failed because they ran out of money due to rampant corruption by the elite, if you really want to know. The same sort of thing is happening now to capitalism. Record corporate profits, record highs for the stock market, CEO pay at all time highs - yet workers's wages stagnant for 30 years. Yes, 30. That would be Reagan's presidency. Biggest "tax and spend" era ever (look it up). That's when the government began cutting funding for education, pitting people against one another (middle class v. poor via "welfare queen" bullsh!t"), stripping unions' power, deregulating industry, etc. All very effective to keep the people blind while the wealthy rob us all blind. Just as effective today as in Reagan's era. I wish people would wake the f*ck up.

Yes, it's a crying shame we won't work for .30 an hour, 14 hours a day with no benefits, like they do in China and India.

Maybe when we go to war with Iran, they can use some of those missiles Reagan sold them in the Contra-Iran Affair after they took our Americans hostage

.30 cents? Really?? Come on... It's a crying shame that unions broke companies like Hostess for ridiculously high wages and high benefits all GUARANTEED at a time when companies are struggling.

In the real world, when the company we work for is doing poorly, we have to take salary cuts and like it, or find another job. Oh.. And if we do a bad job or are lazy, nobody threatens the company we work for. Unions had their place in the early part of the century, now it's a greedy money grab. Sorry.

I wouldnt worry as much about Iran and those 30 year old rusty duds. Id worry more about all the tech and weapons information Clinton sold to the Chinese in the 90s. Way worse than a few small range missiles that were only capable of hitting Iraq.

WAKE UP! Corporate profits are at an all-time high, as well as CEO pay, yet wages are stagnant. That's reality. So tell me, who is really engaged in a "greedy money grab?"

Really? My mortgage rate is 3.5% and I got a $6000 tax refund. My home equity is easy fast cash. You're crazy if you think things are worse now. Or you're just racist and hate Obama. You'd rather have the tool actor Ronald Regan be president than a Harvard educated constitutional law scholar. Yep. That makes no sense.

Of course your not going to worry, your not stationed on a navy ship or one of the many bases in the area. You're just sitting here in the comfort of the US while those sailors and soldiers are protecting your right to bash the US.

When was the last time you took a pay cut. Two and one half years ago I took a $2 pay cut. I work for the IBEW Local 1. The pay cut ally benefits cause the are pay on percentages. I did to help the co. I work for.
