I heard some Arabs and Muslims bought it and they will use the building to stockpile weapons until Obama declares war on the US. I don't know about you but I will NOT sit back and let this happen.

yes the building was taken back by the original owners along with the country bar building and couple others because the current owner had not paid anything yet for them. The current owner of those building was not taking care of them. And one the them is currently being condemned by the city.

Panera isn't what it used to be. I wonder if they got new management or something. I've been eating their baked potato soup for years but lately it's mediocre. Cup n cork on the other hand is awesome...I love the panini with chicken and sundried tomatoes.

I have to agree about the best lunch. I like the Italian chicken sandwich. I'm always full after I eat there. Not to mention I like the couple that runs it. I don't know their names but they're good people and they seem to support downtown events and local artists.

Nah panera along with cup n cork is boil in he bag soup from their food supplier sp potato soup is the same. Cape really has some decent places I go to saffrons for dinner and celebrations but downtown is really sad so many old people with their camal food and their junk stored. I'm really surprised someone would even play around with the idea of buying a business downtown much less actually do it

Downtown is great! It is much better to support local rather than a chain.

They're getting legal advice so that doesn't happen again. I love Tina and Patrick, they're really good people.
However, I ate there yesterday and got very sick from some under-cooked chicken.:(
