Arkansas has been trying to make abortions essentially illegal and shut down Planned Parenthood as a part of the ongoing conservative War on Women. Missouri has a similar backwards political climate and a dangerously large sexist, Republican, voter base. At this rate it won't be long before they're trying to send women's rights back to the dark ages in Missouri too.

So abortion should be illegal! You are killing an innocent life! Life begins at conception that has been proven!
I hope it gets outlawed here as well and I'll call my state rep to voice my opinion!!

So who's going to feed all these babies you want to force on women? & who will raise them when their desperate mothers seek out to back alley abortionists & die from infection & /or blood loss.. Things don't always come out all Brady Bunch you know , kids starve &women die in real life...

Who forces a woman to get pregnant? I didn't even know you could knock them up if they didnt allow it?

I think turning this around to be a "war on women" is a very extreme stretch that liberals have propagated. If a woman has the right to choose then they should choose birth control (except in the case of rape). They can also choose to put the child up for adoption. Either is better than abortion.

Before anyone starts---there is a huge difference between the death penalty and abortion. The death penalty is awarded to those for murder by our legal system. The unborn child has not committed any crime.

If these women are so irresponsible that they get pregnant before they want to, why are you forcing them to keep a baby? Can you imagine how irresponsible they will be towards raising a child that they don't want?

As for adoptions, please. There are millions of kids out there already waiting to be adopted and no one will take them. Why add to the problem?

This decision should NEVER be a political one. It should always be PRIVATE, between a woman and her doctor.

Leave people alone. If you are pro-life, then have as many babies as you want, but leave others alone to make their own choices.

That's because the states make it nearly impossible to adopt. Even if the parents have the means to support and affection to care for that child unconditionally. They still make it almost impossible. That's why so many people adopt foreign baby's it's a lot easier to adopt from other countries.

Absolutely correct. Children end up in Foster care because there is not enough discussion of the option to adopt. Plus adoption is one of the most selfless things a woman could ever do -- but that is the point right- a woman can do whatever she wants to do without questioning that choice.let a man choose not to support that child and we're after him. What happened to his choice?

Kind of like the woman did when she didn't make him wrap the willy? You don't think things through to well do you?

Maybe you can put it up for adoption but maybe you just don't want to put your body through nine months of pregnancy or put up with the idiot that got you pregnant.
