there are clubs that are predatory.the galloping goose is one of these clubs, however they are few in numbers. so they created a subclub, the midwest drifters, to make their numbers seem bigger by covering the area with men who are not of the caliber to be true brothers, but are easily manipulated and disposable.these drifters can go around making the gg franchise look bigger, but the ggmc can disclaim anything the drifters do if they don't work out advantageous to the gg agenda.
At Chrome on the Creek, a small rally solely for fundraising for disabled veterans, the drifters went around selling raffle tickets for a bottle of liquor.People bought tickets, believing the proceeds were going to the vets.the drifters then went on stage without permission, and started to hold their drawing, at which time the rally sponsor went up on the stage to explain to them that no funds could be raised for other purposes at the rally. the drifters then surrounded the man, calling for more members to come help, telling him they answered only to their higher ups and would do as they pleased. at that time a few members of other group and clubs went up to protect the man who was surrounded by about 6-8 drifters by this time. then the drifters called the rest of their member up, making the odds about 5 to 1. the other groups stood their ground, no violence occurred, and eventually a compromise was reached, with the drifters agreeing to split the proceeds.

random remarks show your attitude, but why don't people say the specific reasons for their opinions? what happened to cause you to feel this way about them? I told an incident that caused my opinion of them to change, prior to that I thought people just didn't like them because of their association with the gg.

I don't like them due to all the things I've witnessed living across from their old clubhouse. I've seen drug deals I've witnessed girls getting beat on outside of there all hours of the night. These guys are not doing anything positive for our community, their presence is degrading to this area, they need to be shut down and YES I CALLED THE COPS EVERY TIME I SAW THESE ILLEGAL INSTANCES.....only words for them is DRAMA & DRUGS

I think people watch to much tv and mainstream media plays a part in why MC's get a bad wrap. Take lawyers for instance, some are shady and that seems to give people a mindset that lawyers are corrupt. Not all lawyers are bad. Most are helpful and provide an upstanding service. Just because there are a percentage that are "bad" that shouldn't reflect on all lawyers as a whole. Same goes for your beloved sports icons. Some individuals have chose wrongly but that doesn't mean the whole enterprise are following in the wrong-doers footsteps. People look at bikers with a raised brow because of the attached persona the media has given them. One who wears a patch, who has gotten into trouble on an individual basis doesn't mean the whole club is involved with whatever that one person was doing. It's a stereotype. People are quick to judge because of this stereotype. MC's do have good intentions, and it's not just a cover up for something the public thinks they are doing behind closed doors. Just remember the phrase "a few bad apples won't spoil the bunch". But it seems with peoples quick judgement, this has already happened.....
