So I've noticed the P&G employees are a lil snotty towards manpower employees but for the most part they are cool with you if are working, if you are there to fuck off then they dont want anything to do with you. I also have noticed the attitude problems reside more with manpower employees than the P&G. I would like some insight from both P&G and manpower on how you both feel about working with eachother.

It's always been like that. Some P&G employees have this superiority complex and it gives them some false sense of satisfaction to look down upon the contractors out there, Manpower and Exel. It is okay, we all know that without the contractors P&G would not run.

But then again, having seen the people that Manpower employs out there I can understand why they are look down upon and treated the way they are. Maybe if Manpower would hire people that were actually worth something instead of just dragging up the bottom feeders and giving them jobs they might improve their standings. That, and the fact that everyone knows most of the girls working line support are sluts. There is a reason they are called "Manpower Hoes".

Personally I find these "contractor at P&G" threads humorous.

I work for PG and have the utmost respect for our contractors. It is like anything else, there are good and bad, just like PG. Get a life and quit complaining on forums.

I work for manpower at P&G and am DLS and I sir am by far a ho, and the word ho when refering to woman being promiscuous has no e in it, the garden tool has an e in it. I have a degree and I have a nice house and 2 vehicles, I love my job and have a great relationship with my fellow P&G employees. You sir have issues putting down manpower employees. At least we are working and not living off the state, that would be your tax dollars. We are all there for the same reason to make a check and feed our family. Noone is to feel ashamed for any job you may hold whether it be flipping burgers or manpower or p&G or any other line of work as long as your working and supporting your family. You need a reality check.

I need a reality check? But the last one the bank didn't accept. Oh and if you are going to correct someone on their spelling make sure you know what you are talking about. Yes, ho, as is the ghetto slang term turned common usage, is spelled without and "e". But, when plural there would be an "e" before the "s" per common English spellings. As an example, tomato, and the plural, tomatoes. Your degree must not be in English.

Besides, if you have a degree why are you working for Manpower at P&G? I love how you feel the need to throw that degree in along with how you have a house and two vehicles. Nice attempt at a comeback.

The point is, I worked for Manpower years ago. I know first hand the types of people they hire. Hell, I was a supervisor for a short time. Whilst not everyone that Manpower hires is trash the truth is most of them are. You are judged by the actions of the group. If the common stereotype is that the line support girls are hoes than yes, any girl working on the line will be judged as one.

Wow you are in some desperate need of a reality check, Karma will one day give it to you if not directly to you then thru you maybe thru a spouse or children. Regardless of such I do not judge people as you do and that will come back on you tenfold. You judge others as tho you have earned the right to do so. You are so caught up in your own arrogance that you have no ability to see the talent that each of us carry. We are all human and none is better than the other, none of us is perfect and I'm definitely grateful for my job that manpower has supplied me with, at least I'm making enough to support my two children and pay my bills even if I do work another job. Point is every blue shirt you see out there is working and earning a paycheck, at least they arent sitting on their buttocks collecting state pay that comes out of our tax dollars, I wouldnt care if they or myself was flippping burgers at least we work. I'm certain you put down any person who holds a job that you deem "unfit" or not good enough. Have you any clue about this economy and the line the unemployment deals with on a daily basis, it's very sad and I am most grateful to see any person willing to put on a blue shirt and work for less pay than the P&G employees. They do have a lot of pride to swallow. You sir are a disgrace to any P&G employee for the outlook and judgement you place on people. As far as the plural word for ho if you will look it up, which i know you will just to try and prove me wrong cause your arrogance wont allow you to be wrong then you will see it is HO'S.....Furthermore you must have either slept with a DLS or you want to and got shot down, but out of all my experiences and people I know within the company and with manpower not a single DLS has ever had sex with a P&G employee unless they were married to them. Oh yeah one more thing, if I were to work outside of P&G and outside of manpower doing some line of work geared to my degree I would have to be there for two years making what I make now as DLS thru manpower so I guess they dont pay so shitty compared to how it looks with the economy. Also Mr. Arrogance DLS work their asses off and you need to stop judging people, it makes you look like a pig. I work very hard for my house and two vehicles and to raise my two children alone with no help, I sure as hell have no banks telling me no, they begging to give me money, maybe your arrogance has got you in so much debt because you think competing with the jones' makes you socially acceptable, your clueless about life and people and god help your children if they have the same judgemental outlook on others as you do.

Sorry, this is topix, and your post is tl;dr

Let's make a few points.

1. DLS may work hard but people in CS-10 work a lot harder
2. I work for Exel and make a lot more money then the DSL and have a much easier job
3. comparing economic statuses is a moot point, unless I actually know you and you me it is just talk without a means of proving it.
4. I don't compete with the Jones' because material things are not important in life.
5. Whilst you say you don't judge people you have judged me in your post.
6. I don't have sex with every peace of ass out there. I have a sense of standards and morals.
7. Manpower employs some of the lowest forms of people out there. When they come to work for us we have a difficult time training them because they often are not smart enough to grasp all the tasks they are presented with. Most quit or get fired within six months.
8. You make me laugh. Please, reply to this, I love the tingly sense of satisfaction I get knowing that you are just grasping at straws.
9. If Karma is a bitch, well, it fits you well.

clueless? Really? I worked for Manpower. I was a supervisor with Manpower. I was one of the first people to work in direct line support. I know the kind of work they do, I know how they are treated, I know a lot about how things are out there and not just because of what I read on Topix. I have made a lot of friends with Manpower and P&G.

And I am not the only person that has issues with training ex-Manpower employees.

O.K. folks, time for a reality check. If P&G shut down tomorrow, most contractors could and would find work. They would be fine.On the other hand,P&G employees have no education, they are overweight, out of shape and couldn't handle a physical job. They don't have the good attitude to be in costumer service. They are so far in debt they would lose their homes, cars, motorcycles, etc.Som e would lose their spouses. Others would have to pull up their roots and move to find another gravy train.

dude you need to get your facts straight, not all direct line support are sluts. yeah there may be a few who fratanize with the p&gers. and yes they may be a few who are more interested in the people who run the lines in more than a working relationship. but that is really none of your business. whats the matter did you get shot down by some DLS,s.?

I would watch my back..If you seem like a threat, there are ksjdfgbhsldrgjbhsldfgb people there that will lie and get you fired...I know from experience..Although at the time it was very difficult to understand it ended up working out in the end and I ended up with another temp job that I later was hired full time and it has been the best job in the world

Never said that Manpower employees work for Exel now did I? Nope, maybe if you learned to read, and by read I mean infer meaning from the sentence, you would know that I was talking about when Manpower employees leave Manpower and come work for Exel. Thank you for confirming what I often times say about Manpower employees, that they are not always the brightest bunch.

You guys are all missing the point of this thread. The original question was about the relationship between P&G and the contractors. The answer is simple: P&G treats all of their contractors like complete and total scum. They think they are better than everyone.
