Why is there not a law stating the ones that protect and serve us cannot be over weight? Now im not saying we need robo cops but really? Like I feel safe having a 5ft.8in 400lbs man/woman protecting me? What could they protect me from? Obesety? Only because they got the last donut?? Come on its getting ridiculous? Do they not make fit or even semi-fit cops anymore, or is it just a bunch of fat kids that used to get picked on took a Peace Officer class and now have guns?

i have been saying the same things for years. How are these obese officers supposed to be able to run to apprehend criminals. Its disgusting. They should have to pass a physical every year and stay within a normal weight for their height to keep their job. But you are probably right, most of these cops are just a bunch of yahoos who have that little man syndrome and only get into law enforcement to pick on people and just be jerks. I see the way they treat people in this town and it is sickening. No wonder our crime rate is going up, they are too fat and lazy to do their job effeiciently. Finally, someone spoke up. Firefighters have to remain in shape to do their job correctly. SOmething needs to be done, like getting rid of the chief to begin with and maysome some real changes would be made.

I am 100% with you guys on this. I think they should have their McDonald's discount taken away. It seems like every time I go by Mickey D's in Camdenton there is either a county or city cop in the drive thru. And the totally have the "little man" syndrome, I know a county cop I went to high school with that got picked on a lot. The guy is a total dick. Anyway we should start a petition or something stating that to be a cop and keep a job as one you have to maintain a healthy weight for height.

I would have to concur with all of you. I have always said the same thing. Fat police/lawinforcement gives a town/county a bad image.

Daily Horoscope for December 30

Pisces

You're thinking along very inventive lines today, which is brilliant if you're trying to decide what you want to achieve in 2010. Get out a notebook or diary and start jotting down your ideas, so there's no danger of forgetting them. Discussing some of your plans with someone you respect could lead to even more brainwaves, and will assure you of their moral and emotional support.
