walter T Pittman- missing son 28 yrs old

I have reason to believe my son is in the Portland area. His father teaches Psychology at Colby (Dr.Thane Pittman).
I have been searching for my son for over a year with little success. He is 6 foot 2 inches, Caucasian, dark brown hair, blue eyes, probably on the thin side. He is very knowledgeble about sailing. His Dad will not respond to me, old friends of his, or to law enforcement inquiries.

I forgot to mention that Walter has a scar running the entire length of his right arm. Please help-I miss him terribly and worry about him.

He was in court in North Carolina May 18,2007 for a traffic violation.

Sorry- further research shows that he was not present in North Carolina 5/18/07. The case disposition was put on hold.

It appears he has two pending addresses- Maine and Alaska. So the father must know about the Maine address. Keep trying to contact him if you can do so.

He shows up in Alaska and in Newfoundland Canada

He has a pending address with the correct birthdate in Alaska. He shows up in Waterville Maine-however, does not live there.

He is not in contact with his father or his sister, and neither are looking for him.

How do you know this to be true? She has provided so many ways for him to contact her and he has not. Have you been in communication with him personally?

I know the mother and I also know the father, if one wishes to call the latter by that term. The "father" has had numerous wives and minimal interest in his offspring over the years. The mother is a true sweetheart- I worked with her in the counseling profession. Her "ex" has caused great harm to the son through his essential disinterest. The son should no try to gain the affections of the father, an impossible feat.

The son basically took everything from the mother that their attorney did not take in probate court.He is either-missing in action- or with his ex-fiancee, IMHO
