Bartender fired after calling cops on DUI driver

A bartender says she was fired after she called police about a drunk driver. She says she was just doing her job and being responsible.

Her boss is a dirtbag! I hope she sues the pants off of him!

She knew and disliked the guy. If she called on every intoxicated patron leaving, she would be on the phone all the time.

Who cares WHY she did it. She might have saved some lives that night. Her boss is going to have one heck of a law suit on his hands.

No she da dirt bag....if she wnna b a cop now is da time she have plenty time to train ....if she was truly b ein moral she would have handle it b fore he exit da building ....for exmple take keys n call cab..

Why didn't she stop serving him before he got to that point then ?

I'm sure she would have been fired if she stopped serving him. So either way, she would have lost her job. I'm glad she called the police on the old drunk!

Ah yes the old fire a employee for protecting the business from lawsuit and alcohol beverage control. Come on she over seved then called the cops that is personal and no way she gets another bartending job because of it no one needs that drama in there business

ITA w/ you....She could've called a cab or one of those taxi services that are specifically for people who drank too much. That way she could 1.)have the person get home safely, w/out injuring/killing anybody and 2.) she wouldn't have pissed her boss off & bitten the hand that was (literally) feeding her....
