Hi, all.
I've also posted in Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda forums, so sorry if you've seen this before. Hope you all can offer some help regarding the area. Newly retired, looking to move to warmer climes. Family on east coast, but a little distance is good and I like poking around the back waters in a kayak with flyrod in hand. Any comments regarding best areas for price appreciation in the next 10 years, community/senior activities, hospitals, shopping, bike paths, parks, beaches would be welcomed. Dream home would be on water (canal with access to the bay, or decent sized lake)@ 200K or less.
