Yeah, I think we really need to get Hargrave and Klug off of the council next election. I think that would help this whole town out alot. Hope you don't shut down, alot of people depend on your store right now and it would be bad for the village to lose anymore business. |

1 Capac Resale is UNLIKELY to CLOSE in the near future based upon the overwhelming public support and donations that pour in daily. As owner, Walter or as some call me, "Wally" or even (a&*ho%$) I have NEVER hidden behind a cyber name other then whom I actually am. I opened this store on the predicate that I had wasted most of my youth in and out of jail and taking from society and its tax dollor, and my goal here is to simply repay society by giving it a community thrift store that it can benifit from. Many people think I am sitting here getting rich off of a store full of used items and donated items; the truth is I am already a very wealthy man and come from a very wealthy background and do not need a dime of the revenue that this store generates. I use my own money to make up the deficit in this store to keep it open for you, the citizens of Capac and nearby towns whom need a place they can afford to shop. My way of paying back society and letting the community at large know that even if you spend half your life in and out of jail, etc; its NEVER too late to grow up and become a productive member of society whom has something to contribute. I do not even take a paycheck out of this store! I am the owner and CEO of a very difficult operation that is more of a headache then its worth. I do what I do for you, not myself. Its a hobby. I own a very nice farm and horses and I have a life outside of Capac which I can easily retire to right now and never look back, but doing that is not what I want nor what the citizens of Capac need at this time. I love this town and a great many of its people, both private and public, political, and law enforcement. I learned some valuable lessions from you, the average Jane or Joe whom walks in and talks with me. You give me a purpose in life, and I am here to stay with or without my signs! |

1 I personally do not want to put any names out there on who ought to go or stay. When I vote at the polls I pull the curtin and do so privately. I have my issues with Mr. Klug, but I do not think making the public is in his interest, nor mine. I would just encourage people to vote! |

In furtherance of my response, I would just like to say that I do not live in a glass house, nor does Mr. Klug, anthough as a political figure I think he ought to be viewed as a public figure, but I am sure he has had his share of problems in his life just as I and that it is not in my interest to make a public statement against him. To date Mr. Klug has not done anything to harass me and I think we're all human and ought to recognize that we're all not infallable. Mr. Klug included. I am not defending him nor am I encouraging people to vote for or against him.

Hey Walter, just go around town and take pictures of all of the banners the various businesses in town have out, everyone has them. Take pics of the Klug sign painted on the wall of the building by the gas station, take pics of all of the ads on that run down barn north of town when you are driving in. Then just keep your signs right where they are. If they try to take you to court they will have to explain why thaye are making different rules for you than they are for eveybody else. Don't forget the big "Welcome Biker's banner in front of the bar. Good luck, I guarantee they don't have a legal leg to stand on.

Walter, I thought you were the same guy who had a issue with Mark about your sign last year?

1 You are absolutely right, the signs are everywhere! It is not right that they are picking on this man. Capac Resale I wouldn't do anything until the law is applied equally. Or maybe just maybe they can explain it to a judge why it is you are the only one that gets the police sent to your door. I would take pictures with date stamps on them of all the businesses in violation. Oh, by the way we love what you are doing for our town, with the economy so bad it is wonderful that we have a place to go that is close and we can afford. THANKS AGAIN!! |

first off the police do not enforce the sign ordinance in capac, the zoning administrator does and in the case of all wally's signs, she has been after him for a while, months actually. he probably was facing a citation, so he complied, something he learned in the joint. as he stated earlier, he is all about following societies rules after being locked up, but maybe he is picking and choosing what rules he wants to follow and which ones he ignores. something capac has down pat as well, but rules must be followed by all or all we have is caous and a crappy village to drive thru, live in and call home. come on folks follow the rules and stop complaining when you get caught, or in most cases here in capac, you can get a reprive, get klug's ok on the matter, as you know he is the king and he does hand out pardons. |

I already know this, and have had this very discussion with the village. When the rest of Capac is held to the sale rules I am, I will step into line, otherwise I will continue to do business as I have been and I hope that my efforts continue to draw people to the Village for everyones benefit, including the village and its miniciple structure. |

1 First of all, your talking out your ass, The village HAS NOT been AFTER ME FOR MONTHS about my signs. I got ONE and ONLY ONE call last week for the FIRST AND ONLY TIME. I pulled the signs off the side of my building because PagePlus no longer offers the 1500 TalknText Plan for 39.95. They were expired signs. Before you slander me publically by claiming someone has been after me for "Months" to comply with sign rules, you better know what your talking about. And have enough decency to use your right name, not a cyber name, I will trace you back to your InterNet Service Provider "ISP" and sue you for slander me again. I am not threatening you, I am "PROMISING YOU" as much! |

Thank you very much, Anthough I will add that the "Police" did not come to my door, I got a call from someone from the village, I opt not to name that person and I simply let that person know that I was not going to tolerate being held to a different standard then everyone else. The Drug Store in town has signs all over it, do they pull a $25.00 permit for every one of their signs? I have this under control, and if anf when they do come with a citation, I have a lawyer and an insurance company for that very reason, itsa called CODB "Cost of Doing Business" which is why most of Capac is shut down right now, people cant afford to operate under Hitlers rules anymore in 2009 then before he took himself out! |

Indeed, last year I had an issue with Mr. Klug but not over signs I put up on my business, rather, a sign he made for my business. I try not to dwell on old issues and therefore that issue is not related to the issue at hand today. I am not a resident of Capac, my vote in Capac means squat!, Its up to the residents of Capac to VOTE and of the residents want Mark, or anyone that is seated on the Counsel removed, then I support the voters at that time. It is not in Capac Resale's intersst to take any political position as to any particular Counselman/woman although I have my own persoanl feelings about each. I support the popular vote, and whomever you vote for is whom we'll have to live with until another election comes forth. Again, if you do not vote, do not complain when they people whom are voted to take the reins do things you do not like. EVERY VOTE counts, and if people really want Mark or anyone else out, then that can happen if the collective effort is undertaken. Look at the Whitehouse, the Voters spoke, and we have change; good, bad, or indifferent, things change when you simply take the time to VOTE! |

Just to make one thing clear, the "police" did not actually come to our store about our signs, we got a call from someone within the village off whom I will not name and we're told we were in violation of sign rules. This was the FIRST AND ONLY call we received. Contrary to what somone posted below, the village WAS NOT on me or my store for weeks and/or months to remove the signs. "The Sign Police" as I put is means the "Village of Capac", not Capac Police Dept. We rarely if ever have a problem with local authorities, and we simply do not want to be singled out about putting up signs when we see other stores putting them daily. At one time I was told "No flashing, scrolling, or blinking signs" were permitted, yet I see them all over town now. As soon as I invest in one, I am certain to be called and told I have to shut it dow n as has been done in the past. I have a digital camara and video cam, I am smart enough to document whats going on, and if the village wants to call me out I have an insurance policy and lawyer and we can waste a little tax revenue fighting over an effort to bring revenue in as it leaves. Personally, I think the village out to waste tax revenue repairing the mess thats been made of the downtown area and sidewalks which pose a civil liability to business owners and the village. The first time I slip and fall and injure myself I know whom I will call, and it wont be the village! |

OMG!! The citizens of Capac have always been small minded, one sided people who will never accept change. I grew up in this town, thankfully moved away a long time ago, but recently attended a funeral for a well known butcher from back in the day. Anyway, after my visit to the local funeral home, I thought I would stop in to see if any of my old friends were at Spence's old bar, well, there was no one in there except for a bunch of mexicans, the mexican music BLASTING,and as i went in to use the restroom that was filthy, all I saw was a dirty rat hole of a place that I used to not only work at but liked to stop in to visit with friends. I remember when Capac was just a shit hole town, well, it still is except for now it is over run with outsiders that try to intimidate locals that have been there forever. My friend and I didn't even order a drink as we felt so uncomfortable, as if we were in a place we shouldn't be at because of the clientele that were in there at the time. This is what the heads of Capac has made the town to be, dirty, scummy, and my Grandparents who raised me there are surely glad they are long dead and gone because this would make tham sick to see the town they loved and helped build( being busisness owners of a very succesful flower shop in town). All you politicians want to do is fight over stupid little things like who has a sign here...blah blah blah. Mr Klug, and I am only assuming this must be Mark...I remember you way back when and yes, you do have a past. Instead of being petty and small, do something for this town that we all once upon a time lived in and loved. I hope that the next time i have to come to Capac for a funeral that I can stop in downtown and feel a little of the love I used to feel years ago.

Remember the old song "you lost that loving feeling" My family and I moved from a similiar small town yrs. ago and let me tell you these two towns are world's apart. It seems to me that in Capac everybody is all about he said she said, instead of coming together as a cohesive unit and literally running out the head honcho(Klug) in the next election along with the vast majority of his henchmen(you know who you are) this Village that was once so proud of it's residents will never have that "Loving Feeling" ever again. We as Taxpayers(that's a whole different story) deserve better and maybe it's time we start. Thanks for reading.

VIVA LA MEXICO, OOPPS, I mean Capac, why is everyone complaining about us Mexicans? all we do is stuff 15 or 20 of us in a small Apt. in town , we never buy houses that's how we avoid paying your outrageous taxes, and any money we do make we send most of it back home to Mexico anywayHA, HA,HA, ADIOS MUCHACHOS,

My sign issue with Mark is unrelated to the PagePlus banners we had on our building. Please note that Capac Resale Outlet is moving to Enders Floral Shop as we're buying that building and we plan to have a new lighted sign made for our new store. Hence, the issue I had with Mark is moot as it related to the sign he made for us and that sign is going to be burned. |
