3 Jesus was raised in the Jewish faith. Also -- from what I understand, when Mormons die they become "gods" and get their own planet! You really believe that silliness? |

3 Greetings Sheryl: Peace I wonder if you will get any Mormon takers on that? In the article it seems they have a problem with the Nicene Creed... Well, that is basic 101 Christianity. And the person that thinks Mormons are Christians are maybe a little(lot) confused. I am a little leary of people that dress in suits, and are conservative, and always have this weird lighting on their tv show.... And now that this Mitt Romney got $20+million from mainly Utah.... Well if that is not a sign of a cult giving it, and its followers money for a presidential bid.... We will see. Peace Sheryl |

4 Believe what you may, however, you are not adopted and ask any Rabbi the same question. NO! Go smoke some more of that good stuff and pay your tithing. While your at it, make sure you no longer baptise any deceased Jews. |

1 Greetings Neal: Peace So do you get some planets. And the more wives you have the more planets? Sheryl and I didn't get a response. Oh, by the way are you married, or do you marry in heaven? People believe all sorts of things....That doesn't make them real, realistic, or true.... Peace Robert |

1 Greetings Neal: Peace I had a nice response for you but it got lost in the mail.... Believing you are adopted seed of Abraham is nice. So do the Muslims. But believing it and knowing its true is something else. You did not answer if you believe you are going to get a planet. And the more wives you have, the more planets you get.... Believing something does not make it true... Peace Robert |

3 The ordinance of baptism for the dead was reintroduced during the Restoration of Jesus Christs church to the earth by a modern day prophet of the Lord. As far as marrying in heaven... I don't know where you got that since in the Holy Bible the Lord tells us that in heaven we are neither given away nor taken in marriage. Those ordinaces have to be performed on earth, not in heaven. However, God has given man the authority and power to "bind on earth and it shall be bound in heaven, or to loose on earth and it shall be loosed in heaven." This would apply to the sealing ordinances performed in the Holy Temples of the Lord by those who hold that Priesthood authority. No one in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints claims that Jesus Christ came from another planet. He was the firstborn spirit of God the Eternal father. He created worlds without number under the direction of the Father. Then he came to this earth, was born of a virgin, set up his church, was crucified and resurrected, and now lives with our Heavenly Father. If he created worlds before coming to earth, we have no reason to believe that He will not continue to create worlds after his death and resurrection if He so chooses. There is also no teaching that says that "you as a Mormon will have a planet when you die". Being a Mormon does not guarantee anyone anything after this life. We believe that all mankind may be saved by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel. This applies to Mormons and non-Mormons. We believe that we can be heirs to God and Joint heirs to Jesus Christ as the Holy Bible tells us. We hope for greater possibilities after this life. We have been taught by Modern Day prophets of the Lord about our possibilities after this period on earth. If you don't agree with us, That's OK! you have your agency. We still love you and would do anything to serve you if you need help. I would lay my life down for others to have the freedom believe contrary to my beliefs and I showed it by serving 7 yrs in the military. Have a Blessed Day. I hope I cleared up some misunderstandings that you may have had. Have a nice day. Read my free book by clicking here. |

3 You must admit there are some strange beliefs in the Mormon Church, that osmeone who has not been raised in it can't possibly begin to understand. It all seems so ridiculous to us non members. I, also, tend to believe that the majority of Mormons are born into the religion and are never given a choice. There is substanial brainwashing and control. I have witnessed this firsthand. The Mormons I know are very judgemental and hypocritical. No one can possibly live up to all the rules. And they prove this over and over, yet hide it from the members of their wards. Also, if your body is supposed to be a temple, why are a huge percentage of you FAT, Yet, look down on someone for drinking a glass of wine? And the niceness is just plain phony, imo. You are taught to be this way,so people will think you're wonderful want to convert. LOt's of people served in the MIlitary that aren't Mormon's, so what's your point? |

3 The Mormons I know are very judgemental and hypocritical. Good point! I was raised in the LDS crap. Had to go to seminary, do the boy scouts BS, all the priesthood crap and was finally free from the crap when I was 18 and went into the military. What a relief to see the other side. The crap the LDS church shoves down your throat will make you sick. You are correct about these folks being "nice" and loving. Go to Wal-Mart in Provo (LDS town) or Layton or Syracuse and notice the majority of these loving folks cut in front of you, don't say excuse me, are rude, arrogant and selfish. Joseph Smith is a FARCE! |
