That's because they make good targets!
Why else would the say and do so many weird things?

They want everybody to know they are 'special'. The wear special under wear, they go to special church, Their religion has special secrets, and they think they are so special, they think everybody
would want to be just like them, if they could see just how special they really are.....

I think it takes a really 'special' person to be able to make any sense out of a religion that is so complicated that even scholars
get confused....it's like they use the regular bible that has been the mainstay of religions for a couple thousand years..and then that jo smith dude thinks...that ain't good enough for me, mormon..'i will write my own book, and i will fix every mistake i can find in that other 'old' book, and i got this special friend, that nobody else can see, to help me write my new and restored version and because we will have a special book, the world will see us, and just how special we really are...but we are Christians too..just like everybody else
