Original Schneiderman's store to close

The original Schneiderman's Furniture store in Meadowlands will close after more than 40 years of selling sofas and dining sets in northeastern Minnesota.

That's sad but, given the status of things, not surprising. I remember going there as a kid with my mom and aunts on Sunday afternoons many years ago. The Schneidermanns were a hard working family and cared about their employees.
