Lake Elsinore DUI nets five arrests

Five people were arrested at a drunken driving checkpoint in Lake Elsinore, a sheriff's spokesperson said today.

One of these folks is rumored to be one of Elsinore's finest, the councilman getting recalled, Thomas Buckley.

Tom Buckley wasn't part of the DUI checkpoint, he was pulled over for an absent front license plate and then was suspected of DUI. Regardless, he's stupid for drinking and driving - even more so considering his position....
