Why don't they wait outside the Bar and see who walks out looking drunk and bust them there? They also should have those businesses that served minors lose the liquor permit.

Drunks are the best ones at impersonating a sober person. Thousands of them drive drunk home after leaving the bars every Friday and Saturday nights. You must not be a drinker.

Hope the bar owners realize they can sue the Sheriff's Department if their sales decline because of their raids - reminds me of the good old days of the gestapo - next on line will be "Private Party check operations" and "Bedroom Activity Check Operations".

They need to go to all the gay bars in downtown and fine those bars for letting under 21 drink and not checking for proper id or fake ones!

They'll NEVER go to the downtown gay bars. "Richie Boy" as he's known to his close FAGGOT friends (better known to us as Sheriff Richard Wiles) will never allow for that type of raid to take place, at least not while he's in office. Can you just imagine...the sheriff getting busted for bieng out with his "manly" friends at the downtown bars. WON'T EVER HAPPEN!!!

Notice how they conduct their busts at the hole in the wall places? I doubt they would do this in the trendier, "classier" establishments where they could easily bust more than 100 people on any given weekend.

How do they charge someone with "public intoxication" when that person is drinking in a private establishment? I've personally seen EPPD officers walk into bars and just scan the crowd looking for drunks. But I'm curious to know the constitutionality of these "unreasonable searches". Is there a pretext for going into these bars? Also, how do you measure drunkedness? If the accused does not submit to a sobriety test, how does this stand up in court?

Yet, they gladly take the tax $$ from tobacco and alcohol sales.

You nanny state advocates will be in our homes soon! Damn, it must be hard to be so perfect you can dictate to others how to live.

Just because "Richie Boy" AKA Sheriff, Richard Wiles likes to Karaoke to our smash hit "YMCA" to a packed house at the Old Plantation does not mean that he's GAY. Es Mas P_T_.

ELPD...Just don't go arresting those that cross the border because they will sue you, call you a bigot for harassing them under some discrimination B.S, and then ,to top it all of, they will throw rocks at you only to be called "victims" later on.
