If Mexico is 'less racist' than the US, why then are the majority of Mexicans here illegally dark skinned and indigenous looking? because they aren't part of the HAVES, their opportunities in Mexico are quite limited, and for people to try to pull the wool over our eyes and try to excuse Mexico's failures with 'white guilt' gringo style is absurd and outdated.
If the simpletons on these boards want to take a peek at how different society in Mexico is,based on skin tone, then just check out the telenovelas, that's a good indicator, or next time you go to Mexico, open your eyes and see who is living on the streets, who is selling chicklets on the corners, and who exactly lives in the cardboard shack colonias so prevalent throughout Mexico.
Up to a point you are correct, i think. But if you based your opinon on what you see in T.V an little expirience you have, you are going to end up like the all the mexicans who argue that the U.S is to blame for their problems.

LOL! I base my opinions on being 'half Mexican' myself,(whatever that means)! I grew up visiting Mexico and know the country well. I speak the language fluently, and navigate through the Mexican culture with no problem.

Bottom line is that it takes a big demand to create or make a big supply. So those consumming illegal drugs are just as much or more responsible for the problem. As a white male I think Marijuana should be legal but if California could'nt legalize it how will it ever be legal in bible belt states?
