Quick everyone! There's another article about Canutillo in the paper today! You can all head over there and be negative again. Eventhough it's a good story about our district, it'll be a great opportunity for a fresh negative start!!...So sad.

Well, we can certainly see why these board members are on board, so to speak! They have certainly figured out what they want to do. Their choice for HR Director is pretty close to several of the board members including Sergio, Armando, and Patsy. The others hardly speak, but they vote the way Sergio wants them to. And Murphy is so new at this new job that he is also being manipulated by the same!

Cool it, Murphy! We pay your salary so get your job done. There is some good happening in the district but you better learn how to really care about what is happening elsewhere. Get off the blogs and get to work. You seem to worry more about how people see you and that you make the news and newspaper than taking care of business.

Now what the heck do you really expect? The only sad part about it is, it is true. The negative attitude well continue, you are risking the education of our children with lame personal surrounding you, in part it is the will of the people for continuous support of pea brained board members. Parents have the mentality of it's your job we do our part to send our children to school, now educate them. No responsibility what's so ever, they do not get involved in the business of school board meeting's, yet they keep electing the same dim witted decision making clones of real people making decision's in the direction of the education of our children! A member who is not married no children, a lush beauty queen who sued the district, one who had revenge on her mind who used to work for the district, an other one who want's to make sure her husband will continue working for the district, one who expects a political jump start, an other one who retired yet was convinced to get on board for her vote, the 71 year old one for reason's known only to her, for now!

You’re the one that needs to move on, get to work, and find something to do with your pathetic life. It's obvious that you hide behind you dark soul and different names have you heard of IP addresses.

High school staff seem happy with the board election. Lots of positive buzz in the hallway today.
Just who the heck are you? Are you really Dr. Murphy? Or one of his staff? By reading the rest of the posts, it sure don't sound like 'lots of positive buzz'. Dr. Murphy, you are just going to have to face it, there is no professional ethics or Integrity in your group not to mention they are all pea-brains, you of all people should know what they say about complacency, if you are not Murphy, let me tell you CHS what it all mean's.'Eventful downfall of an organization.

CISD is the meal ticket..cookie jar has more than the bread box huh Mago? buisness not making it? or you just ran out of people to sue? CANUTILLO KNOWS BETTER THAN TO ELECT YOU....
I heard our mr. arrellano is planning to sue once again. If it's true, to funny!!! I just don't get it, a school named after him? The new school board has to go back to the policy and verify that the name does meet all the requirements for it to move on. It is not fair that the "good ol boys" went ahead even though the community wanted to stop the naming of the school after him. What a shame to misuse the system for your own benefit and the waste of a school name that could have been properly used to commemorate a deserving person!!!

Now what? Is the new school board trying to name a new school after one our great past leaders? I hope they would consider naming a school after an other Canutillo leader, that way we could get a petition started to recall the entire school board.

No, not the entire school board. Just the ones that are only looking out after themselves!

Like him or not... Murphy is the key to the future of Canutillo ISD right now. All this talk about so called "board management" is not the most important thing right now. It's Dr. Murphy, and the district needs him more than ever.
Will he be able to run the district from a jail cell?

In my opinion I think that the new school should not be named after a person, less we forget about Carlos Cordova! I think the name "Lone Star" would be good to bring back, that's what it was over 80 years ago. Or we could honor our fallen Veterans from the community and name it "Veterans Memorial" we have had alot of ex-students from Canutillo who have gave their lives for our country and I believe that we should honor them!
