Comment from north of the border.
In Canada we are seeing a mass migration of young people leaving the provinces in the east that for years supported low paying jobs and government tax incentives for businesses, to the more liberal west where the economy is good and where there are shortages of people to do the work. Companies in the eastern provinces are now very concerned, jobs are plentiful but workers are in very short supply.This migration had a domino effect on doctors lawyers, dentist,and small businesses who watched as customers moved west.
Corporate welfare never works.
