That is a Mom to good to be true. What a total loser. I have never believed in abortions but in this case I think I would change my mind.

You guys have no idea what you are talking about. This family is hard working dairy farming family. They are God fearing, upstanding members of the community. This was for a science project and the kid made a poor judgement and a stupid mistake. There is NO ill intent behind this at all. The media should get their stories right before calling someone a domestic terrorist! The community supports this family and none of the family members have ever done anything wrong before this. This was a bad mistake by a kid!

I want to thank Kim in Atlanta, Ga for her comments. I know these folks and am very concerned about what the outcome will be in this situation. The boy is extremely bright and has potential for a very bright future. I realize that particularly in today's society where this kind of thing is even more alarming it has to be taken very seriously. However, as ridiculous as it sounds to some that this was for a science experiment, I believe it to be true. I agree it was very poor judgment on the part of the parent and the child. I am very thankful that no one was hurt. That is the big blessing here. I hope the lack of intent to hurt anyone will be considered and that a fair punishment is given. A punishment that is too harsh would hurt so many people including the children in this family. My prayers extend to the family.

You cannot take bombs to school, even for science projects, I'm pretty sure that is a safety concern. She should I have known better.
