William Perry of North Canton pleaded guilty in Stark County Common Pleas Court to aggravated murder Thursday in a plea deal that will spare him the death penalty.

no death penalty for a monster like that why should the tax payers have to feed and house him at our expense.

Personally, I don"t think this SOB should be given a deal of any kind. He openly admits to not only killing this guy, but decapitating him to boot. There is no reason why the tax payers of this state should incur the cost of housing and feeding this guy for the rest of his life.

The courts are allowing everyone to plea bargain these days. With the death sentence they get to have 25 years of appeals. They allowed no appeals with this guy. Even with the dealth sentence, Ohio is now dragging their feet. Remember - the criminals are saying it is cruel. Some countries find a person guilty - allow one appeal - and then immediately execute. That is certainly something to consider.

Three strike limit of appeals would be best, if it doesn't work out in three tries, it isn't gonna work out at all, one chance could be a little too hasty, three would be the best, two even would be good.

It doesn't any good to give an opinion...the state does as it wishes anyways....we need an express lane like Texas!(via Ron White) do the crime, pay the price!!! That would definatly put a crunch on crime. The prison facilities seem to be a hotel and spa for criminals.

Oh please,,do away with him!!! I certainly don't want to continue to work just to pay for a roof over his head,three meals a day and exercise..Did he offer his victim these things??? NO!!!!! Exactly, Princess Di, I agree completely!!! If someone does these things, "an express lane" (execute them the same day the verdict is reached)there would be NO appeals, NO meals, NO spa etc. Done an over with. Sweet and simple!

I'm not sure its right to plea with someone who admits to taking another mans life while us tax payers has to pay for him being in prison all those years getting three meals a day, a place to live etc. It sounds like he needs to be in an institute for the insane. You just can't be mentally stable and do this kind of thing. Who's to say he won't do it again while he's in prison. Things do happen in prison. I say this man needs God more than anything in his life. Hopefully someday he will and be able to have peace for what he has done.
