This is about my 6 year old grandsons mother. She didn't deserve this and I hope he is punished to the fullest extent of the law. Daddy's money shouldn't make a difference when an innocent human life has been taken.

I really hope the two men who did this get what they deserve. They didn't just kill some woman, they killed a sister, a mother, a daughter and a good person who didn't have to die this young all because someone was too stupid to know they shouldn't be driving becasue they were drunk.Even though I'm not from NC, I still see way to many young people die from druken driving, and this time it hit way too close to home. It needs to stop somewhere, soon.

You would think that being a dad himself he would understand that his son needs to pay for his crime when he puts a child without a parent like he has my grandson. Maybe I should just take my grandson to Gene Lummus and let him explain to my grandson why he has to grow up without his mom.

Both of them need to grow up and I hope they both fry n hell for what they did. I hope her family sues Courtney Travis and the Gene lummus halrey davidson inc and take it all for her son. How can you say the other passenger is responsible? Did he use his Fisher Price steering wheel that coincided with the trucks steering? Just like Waynesville police, you are full of S--t
