Former Ward 2 Councilman and Chokwe Lumumba, 65, is the new mayor of Jackson, Miss., winning the general election with 87 percent of the vote, reports Fight Back! News.

So Jackson elected a race nut for their mayor. There goes what little left of white businesses there were left. I hope he enjoys what little time he has left. I was in Jackson last summer & it was a total dump downtown. Hobos & crack addicts come up to the train station begging for money.
Half of downtown is empty. What is occupied has burglar bars & barb wire on every fence. I wouldn't stay there unless I absolutely had to.
