Ex-Canton Twp. teacher gets 3-15 years in sex case

A former Detroit-area Christian school teacher has been sentenced to three to 15 years in prison for having sex with a student.

Convicting a woman of having sex with a teenage boy is a complete and utter bullshit. When I was 13, I would have banged every 20-30 something woman at my school give the slightest of opportunities.

If you think that the teacher should have been given a lighter sentence perhaps we should lower the age of consent down to 14? This would be fair for all involved. Men and women must be treated the same. Her jail time is just under the current laws. A man would've been lucky to MAKE it to trial...the father would've seen to that. In addition, in jail, the male would have a much harder time serving his sentence.
