If Malkin and company were trying to make Republicans,(neo-)conservative s and warmongers seem ridiculous, they certainly succeeded.

Couldn't Dunkin' Donuts have called Ms. Ray's accessory a "Freedom Scarf" and be done with it?

If anyone looked at the Dunkin Donuts ad and seriously misunderstood it to be support for Jihad terrorists they have serious issues. Those are people who probably need a good iced coffee and strawberry frosted donut worse than anybody!

OMG! She's got a scarf on! They're offended, pull the donut ad!::eyeroll::

SERIOUSLY PEOPLE!!! I mean PH-LEAZE! I'm offended by the portrayal of men as bumbling morons who can't do ANYTING without a type-a high-class wife to guide them. Let's cancel half of the TV shows running. And with the portrayal of flaming gays..let's ban those too!

Malkin and folks like her need to GET A LIFE! And to gloat over 'making' Dunkin Donuts remove the add....what a pompous fool! And how about Dunkin Donuts not showing any backbone - it's a shame society has led to companies backing down even when they know there is nothing wrong!

And yet if liberals complain about an offensive ad, they're "politically correct". Hypocritical much?

This is rediculous. Its a simple scarf. I dont really think Rachael Ray had or has any intention of supporting the Islamic jihad. Get a life people and stop nit-picking everything you see or hear.

Talk about stupid, PC idiots. It LOOKED liked something, so I DONT LIKE IT! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! America is soon going to BAN everything even remotely offensive. No ROPE because some black could be offended, no scarves, jews. No white robes or sheets, no crosses. We allready made some speech illegal, laws double criminalizing emotion, whats next?

This has got to be the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard of!! It just makes me want to out and buy a fringed black-and-white scarf and wear it in support of Dunkin and Ray.

This is so stupid. I generally agree with conservatives on many things but like liberals they always go overboard on things.

Someone should tell that whinning Malkin (got to be a jew) that the scarf she is so offended by is also VERY popular with US soldiers, particularly Special Forces, who use it as a scarf, sweat rag, sand storm garmet, snot whipe, do rag and lots of other uses. Its JUST a damn piece of cloth. Now go put your STAR back on, Malkin.

I like how everybody always attributes negative behaviors to Jews. Malkin is a Asian female.

This is just plain stupid. How on earth could anyone take Rachel Ray's scarf to mean anything more than what it was, a plain and simple scarf! If people want to read more into something than what's there they will. It's a shame Dunkin Donuts backed down and gave into the PC crowd over this. Some people really need to get a life!

Actually she's a fairly hot filipino chick so I doubt that she's jewish. But she is waaaaaay the hell out there politically and with her comments.

I guess this opinion:
"It's refreshing to see an American company show sensitivity to the concerns of Americans opposed to Islamic jihad and its apologists"
is held by only the most ignorant and racist Americans there could possibly be. Only an absolutely sick and paraniod mind would make such a fuss over a piece of clothing. Shame on this Malkin dude...
Futhermore, with the current "politically Correct" movement it's a huge shame that Dunkin would be intimidated enough jump up and pull the add like frightened children, in my opinion, it just feeds the Malkin creeps of the world.... it's a freakin scarf, I'm sure Miss Ray, nor Dunkin had any nasty little message or signal to put out.....

The only thing "offensive" about that scarf is that it was butt-ugly, and went out of style in the late 80's. They should have pulled the scarf from the ad, but only because it's about 2 decades too late for it to be worn in public!

Aren't we all just a little fed up with all the PC nonsense. We can't punish children for being unruly, we can't have one team "wine" and another "lose" in sports anymore, god forbid we accidentally use last year's term for whatever ethnic/racial group, can't say the pledge of allegiance, can't silently pray to ourselves in school, can't expect that people learn to speak out language when they move here so that they can communicate instead of pointing at a price on the register when we buy a happy meal... How abot we all just stop whining and toughen up a bit ferchrissakes.

I can't take it anymore!!!

SGT ROCK, Could you be any more ignorant or has every jew that you encountered been whiney? I am not sure where the corralation between being jewish and wearing a scarf come together but why don't you keep your rude, very discrimantory comments to yourself. You are part of the reason for racism and although there is freedom of speech in this country there is no reason for YOUR ignorance.
