The keffiyeh is scarf worn by arab women, men, actors,..etc. comparable to wearing jeans in the US. Dunkin dounuts decision to pull down the add shows the extreme anti arab bigotry in the US.
The Taliban banned afghan people from wearing jeans. On the other hand the zionists are banning americans from wearing a keffiyeh.

I don't suppose the 'conservative bloggers*' who instigated all this very much care what those of us outside the States think, but it does matter, and the truth is, we're all laughing at you when stories like this crop up. My own laughter is only moderated by sympathy for my American friends who have to tolerate this utter bilge coming from their fellow country folks.

Toleration, now there's a concept not enough Americans appear to understand.

How stupid was this? How many times are the mentally ill,(this is in regards to the conservative idiots that are taking our freedoms from us and not the people who are mentally ill), going to run our lives? Michelle Malkin should be ashamed of yourself for your insisting that everything you think that resembles something you don't like should be banned. Get a life and stop inciting ignorance you moron.

You're right. Especially since we all know what models of tolerance the Arab nations are.

This is the single dumbest news story ever. Michelle Malkin is an embarassment to all human beings with an IQ above 17.

Do you people have nothing better to do with your time!!!!!

If this is how Dunkin Donuts "caves" to opinion, then I won't be going there anymore. How stupid to even suggest that this scarf even looks "threatening".

Who cares it was just a fashion choice chosen for Rachel at the photo shoot. Anything on Rachel looks great. American women have been wearing scarves for fashion for centuries.

Agree, Malkin is as mindless as the far left, in her own right. We should get rid of all these mindless far left/right idiots. On a side note, Rachel Ray is still looking good, even with the extra LB's.

Perhaps if Rach had appeared with an AK47 and a hood, there might be reason for concern. I suppose if anything anyone wears is offensive, everyone could appear naked. The thought of Yasser naked scares me.

Unbelievable- there is no connection at all. We should really be putting this energy into our immigration problems and loosey goosey borders, allowing illegals in. What is wrong with this country????!!!!!

Really? This is an issue. As a Christian Conservative who is so sick and tired of being misrepresented --is there any way to just ban the entire radical right wing forever??

I can't even begin to understand how that scarf around her neck can even begin to represent radical Islam.

I could see if Rachel Ray was wearing it on her head while burning an American Flag and drinking her cool iced coffee then---but really? This is an issue.

How about focus on the 4000+ Americans and countless Iraqi's that have been murdered for Bush's own glory--that is something to report and stop.

I love how the left says that this is no big deal, but they made a HUGE deal when in one of Huckabee's campaign adds a light in the background appeared to be in the shape of a cross. Typical liberal mentality, do as I say not as I do.

I think this is a great idea. Instead, DD should start airing ads with video of the employee in Kings Park that was arrested for the hidden camera in the ladies rest room.
