Unbelievable...political correctness runs amok. How many people would have even given this scarf, or whatever it's "supposed" to be, a second thought?

Some people see what they want to see. Somehow I dobut that Rachael Ray has become the new face of global jihad.

I'm more offended by the pairing of an annoying "celeb" with a disgusting fast food.

I guess if she was wearing a red neckerchief with a black swastika on it you'd be okay with it.

That's just stupid. RR is not smart enough to know what symbol she wears.

Because of Dunkin Donuts deciding to pull the add, I will now stop patronizing their establishment. Unbeleivable!

RR did not dress herself for the ad, so it is not her fault that people misinterpretted a scarf to mean anything other than a scarf.

I think it's ridiculous that Dunkin Donuts succumb to pressure when it surely was not warranted.

I was offended by her shoes - I think they somehow show support for Nazi Germany. And is she wearing blue? She must be a crip gang supporter!

OMG!
Are you joking?? It's a freakin' scarf! What a bunch of pompous asses out there that are critizing this. I wouldn't remove it at all from the ads just because of a few conservative zealots out there are offended. I have a few issues with morons that wear their shorts pulled halfway down their bums too, but you don't see me complaining about it. Gimme a break people, there are more IMPORTANT issues going on that need our attention.

Talk about overboard...DD should not have pulled the ad. By allowing the nuts to claim this is a symbol of terrorism they perpetuale the craziness. They simply should have com eout with the statement that this is a fashion item - and not a symbol.

It's not her manner of dress that is offensive. The woman's voice and giddy laugh are what offends me.

Dunkin' Donuts response should have been 'the pattern is pailey, not kaffiyeh. You people are morons and need to get a life.'

"I think that a right-wing blogger making an association between a kaffiyeh and terrorism is just an example of how so much of the complexity of Arab culture has been reduced to a very narrow vision of the Arab world on the part of some people in the U.S.,"

Sorry, I don't have time to study the entire culture to see which one is or isn't going to blow my head off...

do americans still have so little to worry about that someone would actually take the time to contact dunkin donuts to complain about a scarf that looks kinda like those that terrorists wear. are you kidding me? how sad.

Excellent reasoning....the paisley pattern has been utilized by numerous tyrannical regimes as their emblem. No offense, but you’re a moron.
