"St. David's Anglican Church in Peters, which owes nearly $1 million to a bank for renovations, is turning its building over to the Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh and will lease a former Catholic church building in Canonsburg."

1) The new Anglican church raked in debt

2) They have no money and want to give it back to TEC (LOL)

3) They will be using an abandoned roman building

And that's just the first sentence!!

What else would you expect from the Merry Pirates of the Global South and their North American allies?

TEC should of course take the property back and then press criminal charges against to people that misused church assets under false identities of ownership. The bankers and lenders should be looked at to see if they knowingly assisted in committing the fraudulently based funding.

At least they didn't sell it to owners who would turn it into a mosque.

Think Again and Vacuous Joe most certainly don't worship the God I worship. My God is the Trinity. The Trinity is a Spirit and not magically bound to any book or location or a single group of people.

All humans are the children of the Trinity.

No, they just sold it to the local bank.

Wonder who owns the bank.

Must be them Jews McCabe is always railing against.
You people are a bunch of morons. The church borrowed money to renovate the building. Now that the TEO has succeeded in kicking them out of the property, there is no congregation left to pay the mortgage. You got exactly what you wanted and are now unhappy that you got it. Tsk! Tsk!

One wonders under what terms TEC was "the guarantor of the mortgage" if the congregation wasn't TEC. I assume that the court said the mortgage goes with the building, but that is not clearly stated.

At the very least, the property must be considered worth more than a million dollars and therefore TEC should be able to get its money out of it upon sale of the property.

One could look it up if one wasn't obviously lazy.

But it's so much easier to assume and lie.....

Never confuse the arrogant with facts but in case anyone is interested - The mortgage dates back to 2002 and was orignally $3 million. It has been paid down to $990,000 and the parish continued to pay $10,000 per month toward the repayment but eventually got frustrated when the TEO kept stalling in negotating a sale price. So they voted to vacate and hand the keys to the Diocese. So now the Diocese has to deal with a property for which they have no use other than to turn it into a labrynth or site for Druid services.

The Diocese has no use for it as it has no longer has congregants; TEC's welcome icon should be an empty church.

LOL!

We've got a local Methodist Church that has a great labyrinth(spelled correctly). Any one is welcome to walk it and pray.

I'm going to put one on my property, the same one that is in the Church of Chartres (poor romans don't know what to do with theirs).

They are great prayer tools, which is why they were built.

Now, as far as the Druid services, we must have those under another name.

LOL!

Idiot..........

But it's not and won't be.

How about for the romans your welcome sign has a picture of a little boy popping out of a priest's cassock........

Show me the words! Being a Gentile Christian that has never been bound by the Jewish Law and pointing that out based on the actions and written instructions of the very Jewish leadership of the Church of Jerusalem in the First Council of Jerusalem is not 'railing against' them. Christ Jesus was Himself a Jew in case you forgotten that simple fact.

Are you really a lawyer or are you simply another hate filled cynic and very poor sophist?

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Pisces

It's a great day for fixing anything that needs attention now. That might be a dripping tap, a sick child, an unpaid bill or a miffed partner. However, you'll do particularly well if you need to sort out something connected with official or joint finances or red tape. You might be asked to help someone deal with a bureaucratic problem, especially if they're elderly.
