And just what is your point made by your comment. Why knock a business that is growing in these bad times. You jealous or what is your reason for your whiney comment?

Thanks Legacy, it seems to take people from the outside to service Lamar. Welcome to our community show them long time local bank boys how to take care of business.

Glad to see a new business in Lamar, but my question in the article has to do with the article. Since when is Pueblo the "Front Range"? The front range extends from Colorado Springs up through Fort Collins. Pueblo is "Southern Colorado" if anything.

Actually, the front range urban corridor includes Pueblo and Cheyenne. The Front Range is the mountain range in northern Colorado, just west of Denver and Boulder. Not sure if the range actually extends south to Co Springs or not. I think this article is referring to the urban corridor.

Small town banks are doing much better than the "Big Banks" on Wall St who took our tax dollars in bail outs!
Nice looking building, just wonder if it's a go in this economy? I'm sure Esgar has looked at all the angles or it won't be there?

Do we care anymore: and so does the education level of the rich and the poor. Most people will not get to the level of finances they desire with only an education (or luck, i.e. Powerball) that qualifies them to work at McDonalds.
